Love the vaiiety of burners and options.
Recommend it for all types of chels.

Excellent cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] superb cooking performance- the high heating center burner sears meats and handles stir frys with ease. Water boils quickly and even when cold items are added, comes up to boil again quickly. Side griddle is an amazing bonus - like bringing in your outside BBQ grill. Drawback features are very heavy grates (to lift off for cleaning), no included vent so we had to have a custom one put in and I just think the grates should be a half inch lower to have less heat escape. Not sure why the grates need to be so high. These are just cosmetic though - cannot fault the performance at all and it is very easy to clean. Still looks sparkling and stylish even after 3 months of heavy use.

Great Cooktop!

Since we needed a 30 inch cooktop and are familiar with GE appliances, we selected the GE 30" Cafe Gas Cooktop. We are very pleased with the appliance. The burners are perfect for all types of cooking, with very accurate temperature controls, It's a cinch to clean and looks great. It has exceeded our expectations! And the price was quite reasonable for such a quality product. Thanks, GE.

I love the heavy duty grates and the high power burner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cooktop. I had electric before, and decided to get this gas cooktop instead. It works beautifully, and it also comes with a griddle. You need to let the griddle warm up really good before using it, but it works great. Also the center high power burner is the best at heating water fast. I also like that the controls are in the front, and not on the side, which gives it more room for the burners.
