Cooktop has 5 burners and makes cooking a big meal easier. You do have to consider the size of your cookware if you want to have 3 burners going at once. Otherwise a good cooktop, Be sure to clean up any spills right after in so the stainless stays clean.
this stove top works well, but the "fau" finish around the burners is poor. I cannot believe that a stove top this expensive is not real stainless steel that can be cleaned with heavy duty cleaners like real stainless steel. This where all the spills and boil overs occur. The paint (or whatever) is entirely too fragile and will easily scratch. A sad deal when something has to be painted or plated to save a little money.
Wife loves it ! It is very easy to maintain, work great for all size pots and pans and looks good, Only thing I did not care for and did not use, was the method for securing the unit in place. Made one that works much better. The lack of a seal for a tile counter top was unexpected. Most people have flat counter tops today I guess and it would not be needed, and was and easy fix.
I am generally pleased with my new cooktop. It cooks more slowly than my old one, which isn't a bad thing, but it does take some getting used to. It is very easy to clean (doesn't get as messy due to more controlled cooking) and I love having 5 burners. It is sturdy and solid. My daughter the English major is annoyed by the "Lite" vs "Light" label on the burners and one of the "I"s got put on above the word and crooked, but these are minor things. The knobs are hard to remove for cleaning-again a minor issue. Overall I am very happy with this unit and would recommend it as a good buy.
This has been a great cooktop! Looks good and performs well! The only thing I would change is the distance from the flame to the cookware. The grate sits a bit high, so it takes a little longer to thoroughly heat things up.
Just bought this cooktop. The continuous grates make moving pot around so much easier. Having a large burner on the right side was very important, and this model delivered.
