Beautiful cooktop

We bought the cooktop 2 months ago. Performs wonderfully, especially love the turbo burner, and looks beautiful. As others have stated before, it does scratch easily. Just using the nozzle from our vacuum cleaner left scratches.

Just installed, replacing a Thermidor which was impossible to clean. This GE cafe cooktop changes the whole look of my kitchen. Can't wait for my GE cafe convection microwave to be installed. I'll update you on the ease of cleaning this stainless steel appliance in several months. Stay tuned!

Over all I really like this product. The one down fall I do have is I wish I would have considered how high it would stick-up from the counter. This only is a problem because I put my microwave above it.

Variety of features makes it work

I've had this cooktop for a few months now and like the cast iron pieces above the burners and the powerboil option that has a very small simmer section within it. Great variety. The gas flames are farther away from the bottom of pots than on other gas cooktops I've used and it takes quite a while to get a pot of water to boil for pasta or potatoes, but other than that it has been great.
