Not very robust

Nice for quick cup of coffee ... but expensive. K-Cup costs have been rising rapidly. We've had 2 brewers in 2 years (B50 & B70 Platinum), both quit working in a little over a year with only 4 cups use per day (2 coffee & 2 hot water for tea). Great idea but reliability and escalating cost is now making this option less appealing overall. You can get a good cup of coffee at McDonalds for a $1 (50¢ if you're a senior).
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Limited water supply, Noisy, Filtered water required

Platinum Brewer is not a good product. I have had the second one fail and now need a third. Holding off on the purchase until I can be assured it will last more than 1 year. The current failed model is out of warranty. I would like to see some comptetition for this model. [$] for one year of service is unacceptable.
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile

Love My KEURIG Coffee

I have had my Keurig coffee maker approximately 6 mos, when I experienced a problem with the descaling,I purchased the cleaner and that didn't help.I notified keurig excellent customer and a new brewing system is on its way to me.I love my Keurig Coffee brewing system. Thanks Keurig

Failed too soon

wonderful coffee but brewer failed prematurely. would fail to make a cup and then next time would overflow and next time would make half cup. very undependable even after all fixes failed.
Pros: Great coffee
Cons: Broken in less than 2 yrs

Still the best coffee maker out there. I don't miss $2.02 cups of coffee from Dunkin Donuts at all...
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Doesn't last long

Bought the first one and it had to be replaced within the warranty time frame. The second one just started to brew hot water all over the kitchen counter on its own yesterday. Very dangerous when I have a toddler that could have been burned. Customer service wasn't very helpful or nice. Said it couldn't be fixed or replaced since the warranty was up 4 months ago. They did offer us a chance to buy a THIRD brewer at a discount. These are [$] and should last more than one year. I love the ease of use but for the cost of the machine(and the crazy cost of the kcups) they should definitely last for years.
Pros: Coffee tastes good, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Doesn't last, HARD TO CLEAN

Short Life

This unit was great when it worked but after 16 months, the pump is now frozen and there is no way to fix it with any guarantee that it won't freeze up again. I have performed the suggested maintenance but that still didn't fix the problem. Keurig offered me a discount on a new machine but the fact is that I am out significant money after 16 months. Despite the apparent common problem, customer support has not record of product development addressing this issue so I have to assume that if I replace my machine, I will have the same problem in the future. I would not recommend this machine for this reason.
Pros: Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Multiple Settings
Cons: Not designed to last

Quite disappointed

My husband used this every day for a cup or 2 of coffee before working for 10+ hours building trucks. He works hard, he needs his coffee. We've had the machine for a yr and a half, not long. After running the descaling cycle a couple of days ago it worked for a couple of days. Today, however, it won't do anything. I've tried everything that I was told to do, been on the phone with Keurig 3 times and it's just dead. Great, now we have a bunch of K cups, a piece of trash on our countertop and have to decide whether or not to buy another one. The warranty needs to be longer than a year on a machine that is quite expensive and apparently (by reading other reviews) without being very old.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
