I am now on my second brewer after 14 months, one day the brewer just would not stay on and would shut off immediately after turning on. Then would not turn on at all. I contacted customer service and within a few minutes of questions they were sending me a new brewer at no-charge. They certainly stand behind their product. I would not buy from anywhere else. Thank you Keurig.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Stylish

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Great tasting coffee

My only concern is that the water reservoir might break when refilling and reinstalling? I am very careful because it is all plastic construction. So far no problems after 6 months!
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings

Quality Issues

I have had the Platinum Brewing System a little over a month, but it started having issues in week two. The machine goes into Prime mode frequently, thus not allowing me to brew a cup. Frequently, it will also display Brewing for 5-7 minutes, then switch over to Not Ready - requiring me to turn the machine off and on and remove the water tank before it will finally brew. Called into Keurig and they are replacing the brewer...excellent customer service, but the rep did say that they have been having issues with this brewer and "Prime" error.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Not working properly, Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have had this brewer for about a year and love it. Love the coffee, love the speed.Unit just had a problem. Customer service spent 10 minutes on phone troubleshooting, and proceeded to send out a replacement. I am thrilled with the customer service I have received, however a little hesitant with the brewer itself now. For the price it should last for many years without issue. I was thinking that mine was an isolated defect, but upon reading some other reviews see that it is a common theme. I will still recommend this to friends, but with reservations. I will definitely praise the customer service that I have received so far. [...]

Same problem every one else has

I had the same problem everyone else seems to have. It started making part of a cup, spitting water back in to the fill tank, then stopped working all together, after only about 4 months. This is my second one the first lasted about 2 years and was used ALOT. The customer service is outstanding however. They attempted to help me fix it and when it did not work they replaced it. I will still keep buying this coffee maker for years to come.
Pros: No wasted coffee, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy set up, Easy use, Hot coffee, Quick cup of coffee, Easy to use

This was the best inveastmant i have ever made when i had an issue the support staff at the company were more then willing to help when it died after many months of use the company stood behind their product. I did not even expect them to replace it i just wanted to get it fixed and was inquiring about what or where i could get this done. They came back and said we will send you a brand new tomorrow and it was done wow great company stands behind its product.

I love my 1 cup of coffee in the mornings and this product is perfect!! I love it because it is quiet and does not wake my 20 month old baby up when I brew a cup before I am off to work at 5:30 am. Its easy to use and much cheaper than buying my flavored coffees at [...] 7 days a week ($22.00/week)!!! You can adjust the temperature and cup size u want which is great because I don't like my coffee burning hot!!

I have been a Keurig user for years. The first one I had sounded like a freight train, so when the quietbrew came out, I got the Platinum Series. I loved it. I used my Keurig points to buy at least 3 for gifts. I have purchased others at local stores for gifts. I am personally responsible for convincing several friends and relatives that they needed a Keurig. Now I'm afraid that they are not being made to last. The pump must have started to go on my second brewer, the Platinum, because after a couple of years it would not make a whole cup of coffee, then it quit altogether. I ordered a new one with my points in anticipation of the original Platinum quitting. We started using it about two weeks ago and today the water reservoir kept blinking and it would not make coffee. After turning it off and on a couple of times, we could get it to make one cup, but it would quit again. They are sending me another one, but right now I am using my old standby Kitchenaid. If there is an issue with these things they need to figure out what it is and make it right. Other companies are starting to make K cup brewers - now is NOT the time for Keurig to get sloppy.
