Short cupping

I bought this as a TSV on QVC in November. It has been working great, and even won over my kids, who are hooked on Dunkin Donuts Coffee and will travel miles for a cup. Now it seems the pump is struggling and I never get more than 6oz no matter what the setting. Very disappointed because it makes great coffee. Pretty expensive to only work 6 mos.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

Great coffee, poor reliability

This product makes a really fine cup of coffee in no time flat. However, my 4th brewer just failed after two years of total ownership. While Keurig has consistently provided great customer service and replaced the failed brewer each time, this time I am going to give up and move on to another brand.
Pros: Great coffee selection, Quick Brew, Stylish
Cons: Reliability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Working like a charm, so far so good.

We've had our platinum now for 2 1/2 years, so far so good. We turn it on in the morning, and turn it off when we retire at night. Knock on wood it works great! Oh, one thing we do is to only run bottled water through the machine. Our tap water is good, but a tad bit on the hard side, and we wanted to eliminate any build-up. Sort of looking forward to the next one, as I would love to get the cinnamon color to match my kitchen. Didn't have that option for our first one.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Multiple Settings

2 months and already broken

New machine and after 2 months of use water fails to draw from the reservoir and requires priming (restart) after every single cup!!! Our first brewer was similar to the current Special Edition model and it was great; it went 3 years without a hitch but when it started getting confused on the cup sizes, we figured it was time to upgrade. Our only complaint about the old brewer was it was very loud. So, we upgraded to the Platinum and after about a month of use (1-4 cups per day) it started occasionally having an issue where the motor would run after pouring a cup, but it was unable to draw water from the reservoir, then it shows the error message "Prime", which means you need to turn the machine off, unplug it, and restart it to re-prime. After two months, it now does this after every single cup. I just got around to sending a message to customer service, so we'll see what they say. I don't want to send it to a repair center and be without a brewer for who knows how long. I'll run this one until it breaks and I'll buy one more brewer of a different model, but if that fails I'll stop being a Keurig customer, which is a bummer, I love their k-cups and especially the new Barista Prima coffee. I buy about 4 boxes of the stuff every 6 weeks or so. What would be nice, is if Keurig would send a replacement brewer, and then let us send the broken one back in return so we don't have to be without a brewer, that would make us happy campers and remain loyal customers.
Pros: Quiet, Easy to use
Cons: Not Reliable, Doesn't brew very hot

problems

I've had problems with this machine after the first 4 months. Technicians were helpful, and initially got it going again, however it constantly fails. I have a new one coming as replacement and we'll see how it goes. I understand the money is in the cups and not necessarily in the brewer...but someone needs to go back to the chalkboard!
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Breaks Down
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my Keurig Platnium brewer for about a year and a half and absolutely love it. I am very pleased with it's performance, ease of use and the excellent coffee that the Keurig system brews. I especially like the fact that I can have a hot cup of coffee on demand any time I want one. No need to brew a whole pot and waste what you don't drink. The Keurig customer service is above and beyond as well. If you ever need their support, they will go out of their way to service your needs. Definitely a Keurig customer for life!
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Durable, Stylish

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Fast & Easy to Use

My husband & I make our own cups of coffee in less than a minute or so each morning, Don't have to wait for a whole pot to brew before we get our individual cups anymore. Did find that we like the Extra Bold variety though. The regular brew is a little too light for us. Doesn't take up too much room on the kitchen counter which is a nice feature for such a great coffee maker.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish
