Great brewer....when it works

I'm a single retired guy with a girlfriend, so this brewer only has to brew on average, 2cups a day. Makes delicious coffee however; this is my second brewer in 4 years and it just quit after 24 months. Keurig is sending a replacement for about half price but come on! I only use distilled water, I always de-scale it every 4-5 months. If I hadn't just spent $150 on k-cups, I'd seriously be looking at another brand. Keurig, you really need to improve the durability on an otherwise wonderful product.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Noisy, Pricey / Poor Value

I am in love with it!

I use mine on average twice a day. I'll have my morning cup of coffee and my afternoon cup of tea. I love flavored coffees and I am really appreciating the freedom of the single serve K-cups. I can have a regular coffee one morning and a hazelnut another without having to open multiple pagkages and compromise the freshness of the coffee. I have used the special iced coffees and teas that are available as well and they work wonderfully! I cannot recommend this product enough.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast
Cons: Noisy

Great Concept Poor Design!

Our Keurig was giving to us as a gift about a year and a half ago. GREAT for the the first year after that we starting having problems with the machine and now 6 months later the machine is worthless and because Keurig only offers a year warrenty we are out! Bottom line....would not recommend

Buyer beware!

I am familiar with two parties, as well as myself, who have had problems with this coffee maker. Prior to the warranty expiration of shortly thereafter, the brewer will not brew coffee. I've followed the manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning, troubleshooting, etc. All parties indicate the maker simply stops brewing coffee. As the manufacturer sends out letters, as follow up, to complaints, it is apparent this is a faulty product.
Cons: Faulty motor

Keurig Obviously has a problem!

This will be the third Platnum brewer. We had first one about 6 month or less and quit brewing, Keurig replaced it. Now the second one has quit, but out of warranty about a month or two. We called and they will replace it for less than a new one cost. Question I have is when I look at all the reviews, a VERY HIGH percentage of them all say the same thing. This shocks me to see a very high amount of units fails between 6 mo - 18 months with pump problems! We are going to try one last time and as many other say in reviews, it will be the last Keurig brand if it doesn't last at least 2-3 yrs! It is getting too expensive and a hassle to replace! Time for Keurig to read the reviews and do something about it before they have no more customers!!!! Good customer service doesn't help if the product is not the quality to match the price! Giving you one more chance to get it right!

Good coffee, poor quality machine

Used the machine daily, best cup of coffee we've every had although that depends on the variety of coffee used. After 18 months the brewer stopped working. Followed procedure for descaling; did not solve the problem (would not brew). Customer service would not replace; have to purchase another brewer. [$] is a lot of money for a coffee maker that only lasts less than two years, on top of expensive coffee.

If love the coffee maker, but the first one would quit pumping the water correctly, lights would flash, the display said, "Prime", and I had to pull and return the water tank many times for it to work again. One call to customer service and they sent me a replacement. So far, the replacement has made it past the same time period of the first one with no real problems. Once in a while the pump gives me trouble, but it only takes one time for me to make it work again. If I don't have anymore problems with that, this is an awesome coffee machine. I love how it's so easy to make different size cups, makes a cup of coffee or whatever so quickly, and you can set the timer. My husband likes regular and I have to drink decaf, he likes it strong, I like it more mild...........we can each have it our way with no trouble. I know it's easy to use because he uses it to make his coffee and doesn't complain, as long as I keep his favorite K-cup handy. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the problem I had with the first one. I do think it's too pricey, it just shouldn't cost so much. My son liked ours so well after a visit, he bought one exactly like ours, so the coffee maker sells itself when it's working right.
