Took a beating in Afghanistan

I originally ordered one of these when I was in Afghanistan. I had it there for eight months and it never once let me down, and the living conditions were far from perfect. I used it for coffee with K-Cups, and I also used it for hot water for tea. When I came home, I packed it in a footlocker wrapped in shirts and towels, and it survived the bumpy shipment back home. It's still giving me great coffee seven months later.
Pros: Easy to use, Durable, Multiple Settings

Good machine....but noisy?

Bought one for the office. Works so good I bought one for home. After about 6 weeks the home one has become very noisy when heating. Cleaned unit according to instructions but it hasn't helped. Doesn't seem to effect the water stream or heating time, but what's with the noise...wakes the neighbors
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings

Love, Love, Love this machine! Just wish

I love my coffee. I drink it all day. I use it at home and am the only one in my household that drinks coffee. I drink about 6 or more cups throughout the day. No more wasting half pots of coffee. No more burnt muddy coffee. This is so convenient and quick, best idea ever! Tastes amazing. I recommend it to all my friends. I am hoping and praying that Keurig fixes the issues with this model very soon. I bought mine in March 2010. I used bottled water only due to very hard water, didn't want it to ruin my machine. I moved to a place and have city water and started using the filter in May 2010 was a little worried but figured this is an expensive great, advanced all around machine so it should be ok. Well over the summer of 2010 my machine started doing what everyone elses does... all of it and despite the descaling every 2 weeks and needle poking... my machine died the end of december 2010 :( , but I will never give up on this amazing machine. Keurig is in the process of sending me a replacement brewer. I'm telling you, I cannot go back to traditional machines. I bought a simple 6 cupper because I cannot go without my coffee and quickly remembered how awful it is to not have a Keurig. I waste so much coffee ( it takes me a while to drink one cup, by the time I get to the second it is burnt or cold and have to make a whole new pot) and have to wait so long for it to brew and it just doesn't even taste as good, by far! Keurig's customer support is awesome, I would still recommend to everyone because they stand behind their product and I have complete faith that they will fix this issue and I will get one that lasts forever.
Pros: Very convenient, Iced tea iced coffee, No more wasting half pots, Quick, Fresh cup every time, Tastes amazing
Cons: Doesn't last

Greatest Invention on Earth.

This is my second Keurig I have owned and I loved the first one too. This is without question one of the greatest inventions on Earth. I have the B60 SE too and purchased this one for the more advanced features which are great (auto on/off, 4 cups sizes, etc). My only issues are and there are small is that it feels a bit flimsy when opening the lid, the water chamber is small for the many kup sizes and the drip tray is taller than it should be.
Pros: Quiet, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Drip Tray is Too Tall, Flimsy, Small water chamber

Best coffee brewer ever!!!!

The platnium is my second Keruig, the first was the B-60. (4yrs and still working). I just decided to treat myself to a new one. I used to go through 2 to 3 coffee pots per year, and to have the keriug work for 4+ yrs and still make a perfect cup everytime, is just perfect to me. I drink from 1 to 5 cups per day, and I do the coffee, hot choclate, tea and have also used the ice drink products. I have purchased these as gifts for family and friends and just about everyone who has had coffee from mine has purchased one for themselfs. this machine is well worth the cost and deserves all the praise you casn give it! Love these machines!
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Durable

LASTED 9 MONTHS

THIS MACHINE IS THE SECOND REPLACEMENT FOR ONE THAT WENT KAPUT IN LESS THAN A YEAR. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS. THE MACHINE IS HOUSEHOLD USE AT MOST 6 CUPS A DAY. NOT HEAVY USE IN MY OPINION. I WILL BE CALLING KEURIG TO SEE WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS. MACHINE USES SPRING WATER AND IS DESCALED EVERY 3 MONTHS. SOMETHING IS MISSING IN THE DESIGN AND OR MAUFACTURE OF THIS PARTICULAR PRODUCT. GREAT IDEA IF IT WERE MORE DURABLE.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: QUESTIONABLE QUALITY, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love coffee, and I do like most of the coffee makers this company provides, however this model should be taken back to R&D. We have had our unit replaced 3 times because it stops brewing. Support claims that they had a 'clog' from lack of cleaning however we clean our machine on schedule as recomended in the documentation, but there seems to be a problem with the machine that it will stop brewing at some point. I would not recomend this model for use.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Piece of trash

My brewer worked fine for the first few months, but at about 9 months, it started turning off after each cup and only brews partial cups at times. I went through all of the troubleshooting steps with the extremely polite, but technically unsavvy service reps to no avail. They keep asking me to do one more thing and call back. I think they are hoping I'll give up eventually or we'll be so far out of the warranty that it won't matter. There are dozens of similar reviews on other websites, so they are aware they're producing lemons. Buyer beware, and save your packing materials for at least 9 months or more.
