This machine provides a great cup of coffee, when it works. Keurig needs to wake up and respond quickly to customer complaints. I have had every single problem with my Platinum that have been listed. I am on my third brewer. I'm not sure how Keurig expects to keep loyal customers like us. They need to fix the problem or there will not be any customers left to sell brewers too.
Cons: Machine Rarely Works

Disapointed with the Platinum

This is my Third Platinum Keurig...!!! and it's because they keep breaking down. I have five friends who all have Keurigs that have all had the same problem, they are each on their second units. What is going on with this product??? Why do I still have one, you ask? Keurig has great customer service and sent me a new one. I hope it lasts. Here is how it all starts.....first, the cups become smaller and smaller ie. less coffee is being brewed. Then the machine shuts off after making a cup or while it is heating up the water. Funny thing is that all my friends are having the same issue. And yes, I have been diligent about cleaning the thing and descaling it. It truly is a great invention...I hope they work things out to make the product more reliable.

I enjoy the product when it works from consistent stand point. However, this is my fourth Kuerig - it seems after a year of use - it starts to have problems filling the cup to the proper setting - even after descaling the product on a 8 week schedule. Buying a new product every 18 months is not good business.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Making my own fresh brewed coffee every morning sure beats going to the local coffee house! And the money I save on gas and those expensive designer drinks, makes this system the best for me. Not to mention I have a never ending choice of coffees!!!
Pros: Durable, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use

I have purchased 7 Keurigs and 1 Breville coffee maker. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all my Keurigs! I personally own a mini, 2 Platinums, a Special Edition and a Breville. I purchased the Breville to upgrade to a sturdier machine. I bought a Platinum and a Mini for my motorhome. Yes, I have had numerous problems and had to have a machine replaced 3 times. Once, right out of the box! I ran the initial water brew, BUT, water brewed with small black grains in it. I had never brewed with a K-cup, ONLY water! It was pretty upsetting. Thought I had been sent a refurbished machine. Their Customer Service and Specialist agents were great and replaced each problematic machine. I cannot go without my Keurig!! I, too had one agent that wanted me to go thru all the descaling and this step and that one, no matter how many times I told her how many I have purchased and used.....BUT in the end they were wonderful and compensated me quite heartily for my extreme inconvenience. I purchased 1 Platinum and 1 Mini for a friend. The mini is for their Pop Up Travel trailer. I gave one of my Platinums to a friend so I could upgrade to a 5 cup selection. They love theirs so much they bought a mini for their vacation Camper. I was afraid that the 2 I gave to my friend might have a malfunction and I would be embarrassed. I advised them of the problems I had had and how GREAT Customer Service was to me and how they stood behind their product if they ran into a glitch. They have not any problems. I am sorry to hear of the problems that others have had....remember, I had them too more than once! But the Keurig and the wonderful coffee, ease of use, has me smiling and looking forward every morning to that cup of coffee. I am very pleased with the varieties of coffee as well and I was a die hard french press lover for many years. All in all I heartily recommend the Keurig.

I use my Keurig daily and I've had it a little over 6 months. I don't know how I ever lived before it! This coffee maker is awesome; the process is quick, the water resevior can hold a large amount, the different cup sizes allow for a nice variability and it's overall just what a coffee-lover would need! Enjoy!

I just purchased the platinum brewer....I love it! I can't believe how quiet it is. I love the fact that I now have multiple cup sizes to choose from. I also like the fact that I can brew iced coffee. I also own a Keurig B60 that is still working just fine..it will be moving to my office so I can have great coffee in both places. Keep up the good work Keurig!!
