Good Product with Care

I had my first one for about 8 months. Worked great, but like other reviews on this site, it would only 1/2 fill a cup no matter what size setting it was on. Customer Service was fantastic, eventually replacing it with a new one. I now run a couple cups of just water each day after the busy morning usage to keep the needles unclogged so it doesn't start doing what the old one did. Hopefully, that will keep it running fine.

I bought my husband the mini Keurig last year for his birthday since he is the coffee drinker in the family. He loved it so much that he bought the Platinum version so I could have iced drinks - especially iced teas. Now I use it everyday and he uses it on the weekends when he is home in the mornings. We love it and have had no problems with it since it was bought a yar ago. Highly recommend it for anyone who has family members with different coffee/tea tastes.
Pros: Quiet, Reliable, Easy to use
Cons: Cannot think of any

Absolute Worst Coffee Maker Ever

Both of mine stopped working after about six months. Guess this machine can only function for light usage. More than five cups a day and it quits working.
Pros: Worked for 6 months
Cons: This is my second machine

Getting ready to buy my second

I've had my Keurig for about 18 months and until today it's worked great. I use it daily for 1 to 3 cups each day. A few months back it started brewing smaller amounts of coffee but after I descaled it worked fine. This morning it would not brew. "Brewing" was displayed but no coffee came out. I will go home and try cleaning/descaling to see if that helps. If not I'll buy another. I cannot go with good coffee in the morning! I just hope my next brewer does not have all the issues folks are writing about here! All in all I'm very happy with it, I do wish it has lasted longer though. For the price you'd think it would!
Pros: Stylish, Great coffee, Convenient
Cons: Durability

Doesn't Last

I bought my first B70 in January of '10. It worked until March, when it stopped brewing full cups of coffee. At that time, Keurig customer service was extremely helpful and sent out a replacement right away. 2 weeks ago, the replacement B70 started acting up, and would not brew anything unless I brewed a water cycle first. I called customer service, and there was quite a difference in the attitude of the technicians from the first time. Yesterday when I called, they had me clean out the holes that the water and coffee pass through, which was unhelpful, because I told them I could see through the holes, they were not clogged, and the machine was able to brew water just fine. They told me to call back if I still had problems. Obviously, I had the same problems today, so I called back. This time, the technician told me that I just had to leave my machine on, ready to brew, 24-7. We are an energy-conscious household and that's not an option for us. She would not agree to replace the malfunctioning brewer. Luckily, talking to a supervisor helped, and they agreed to replace my defective unit, but this time I have to go through the trouble of sending back the malfunctioning unit. My first customer service experience was what saved my opinion of Keurig until now, but having just gone through a MUCH less-satisfactory experience, I would say invest in a more reliable coffee brewer. It hasn't even been a year since I first bought my B70, and I'm on my third machine. If the attitude of Customer Service continues to decline, I fear for those who may get stuck paying so much for a brewer that won't last.
Pros: Relatively Quiet, Brews well when it works, Looks good
Cons: Problematic, Doesn't last

A BAD EXPERIENCE

I bought the Keurig Platinum Coffee Maker to replace a Keurig Special Edition Coffee Maker that I had been using for the past year. After setting up the new coffee maker it worked perfect for five days. The sixth day it would only fill the cup 1/4 full. I cleaned it as described in the instruction manual and it still did not work. Brought it back to [...] and purchased the Cuisinart SS-700 Keurig Coffee Maker and am thoroughly satisfied with it. No problems whatsoever. For the difference in price, get the Cuisinart. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and be totally satisfied.
Pros: None
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
