Somewhat disappointed...........

I love this coffee brewer...........except when the pump goes out. I am on my second platinum brewer and the pump has started ascting up again. Won't pull in water and shuts itself off. Reset it and it still happens. Taking it back for replacement today. Kuerig....if you could fix this pump problem this would be a GREAT brewer.

Cons: Problems with pump x 2

Great product - For a limited time

All of these Keurig's are great and I absolutely love the coffee it produces and the variety available. However, my experience shows that these only last a year or two and then you need to buy a new one. If you are looking to save money on coffee, this is not the way.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: 1-2 year max lifespan, Fragile

I love this brewing system

I received this as a gift and I use it everyday. I believe this model does have a problem with the brewing. I have a friend who had to return hers four times within a year. I have had mine for a little over a year when it stopped working. I called hoping they would do something and they are going to replace it plus they are sending me two boxes of coffee for my trouble. I hope they have worked out the problem because I love this thing! I would recommend this to a friend, I know they would love it and because the customer service department is so nice & easy to deal with, I know if they had any problems, they would take care of it.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Love my new brewer

I've never been a morning person, and I always need my coffee. So this machine has basically changed the way I wake up. I've always bought gourmet coffee brands and used a bodum prior to using a Keurig. This coffee is easily as good as what I'd make for myself and the k-cup choices are awesome. It's such a time-saver when I'm entertaining; after dinner, my guests just help themselves and think it's really fun. I couldn't be happier.
Pros: Multiple Settings, MAKES GREAT COFFEE, Easy to use

Have had this brewer for 2 years now and has always worked well with no issues. We brew hundreds of cups per year with no issues. Great brewer.

Great product when it works

I bought my brewer almost a year ago. It worked fine for a while but started to sputter and then not brew coffee, despite the screen saying that it was. I contacted Keurig and they suggested that I de-scale it. I tried this and it worked for only a few times before it started doing it again. I cleaned it a second time and same thing; worked and then sputtered again. I took my chances and decided to try until I actually got a cup of coffee as it was off and on. I'd be lucky some days and other days it was a Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts run. THEN, something new and weird happened. I would turn it on and the plug that it was plugged into would trip and then the outlet would not work. I would have to reset the breaker and try again. Then it would trip again. I thought this was not a good thing as a breaker tripping is a sure sign that something NOT GOOD was happening to make it trip. I called Keurig again and they said this was most probably due to the internal tank being overtaken by scale build-up, DESPITE de-scaling to manufacturer specifications. Even though I use a Brita water filter exclusively for the brewer, I was told by the Kerig representative that this was not a proven way to remove all of the lime scale. After they assesed the problem and verified that it was still under warranty, they agreed to send me out a replacement free of charge. They recommended that I de-scale the unit more often to prevent this from happening again. I didn't know I would have to do this so often but I will try and remember that with the new one. While customer service with Keurig has been exemplary, I will NOT be buying another one if this one [*] out like the one before. It's too bad. Keurig coffee makers are a marvel of an invention and make a great cup of coffee. When it works.

Great coffee any time

I have owned my Keurig for over a year and it's been great. i have it set to turn on at 6am and ready to brew for me when I leave the house. i also have it set to turn its self off after 2 hours so I don't have to worry about leaving it on. We have 3 coffee drinkers in our house but we all have different schedules and coffee tastes so this brewer is perfect for us. I have only cleaned it once and I should again soon but being an Old Italian I say 'if it isn't broke, don't fix it'. And just one more brewing tip: It will always say NOT READY if the handle is up. Chances are it is ready to brew but you need to put the handle down and locked then it will show READY.
