If only it was reliable!

This could be a great model if it were only reliable! It has all the sizes to include 12oz which when you look at the Select, Special Edition, and below models they only go up to 10oz. It has a large resevoir. One could easily give this a 4 or 5 if it just worked and was reliable. Our friends had to replace this model after 10 months and we are going out and buying the Cuisinart model for K-cups in hopes it is much more reliable.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Not durable, Not Reliable, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had the platinum version for about 3 months now and have had absolutely no problems. This is the second brewer I have purchased (upgraded and took the old one to the office) and have had no issues. My friends love coming over to get to use the machine...they love being able to brew just what they want. I love that I don't waste a whole pot of coffee that may not be the flavor everyone wants.
Pros: Durable, Stylish, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm getting my money back!

First, Keurig took 5 days longer than they said it would for me to get my order. Then, I had my machine for less than two weeks and it started messing up. No matter what size I selected, it kept brewing less and less coffee. Then the machine would unexpectedly power off on it's own. At first it would give me at least one cup of coffee before it decided to power off, now it won't turn on at all. I called Keurig and they offered to send me a new one but I just don't have time in my life for an expensive fussy coffee maker.
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the product. The problem is that after a few months the brewer would shut down when attempting to refill with water from the resevior. While the company was the best ever and immediately replaced the brewer for me, I hope that the secone one holds up better. I love the convenience, the flexability to make whatever whenever and for whoever. Every coffee and tea that I have tried has been great. Overall this is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. Just hope the brewer holds up.

Same problem...shuts off...

Purchased my first brewer for Christmas 2009. Lasted about 1.5 months and started shuting off. System tried to pull water from the water reserve and after 15 secs, it shut off. had to turn back on and try again. Waiting for my 3rd brewer. Hopefully this one will work longer than 2 months. [...]

TWO defective units...doesn't pump water

My Keurig Platinum makes great coffee...when it works. I have now gone through TWO defective units. The coffeemaker will work normally for about a month, and then stop working. It will make one cup normally, then while trying to heat water for a second cup, the pump stops working, and the unit shuts off. After turning the unit back on (and letting it fail) several times it will start working again. Something appears to be inherently wrong with these coffeemakers...I wouldn't recommend it.

Third Replacement...Same problem

Just received my 3rd replacement Platinum B90 on Friday and when brewing the second cup, it only brewed 2 oz. then shut off. I've gotten 3 out of 5 full cups of coffee out of it. The two prior to this one did this as well as stopped taking water in and kept shutting off. I spoke to Customer Service and got great service. The engineers are working to figure out the cause of the problems, but have not done so yet. I am going to assist them [...] so they can investigate it further. I really hope they get this figured out or I will have to give up on Keurig...and up until a few months ago, I was completely satisfied. I would not buy a new one right now...wait a while and see if they get this defect taken care of.

Don't Buy it!!!!!!!!!

I am now on my Third B70 Platinum Brewer. This unit cuts itself off, sometimes in the middle of brewing an will not cut on until you unplug it and let is sit for a while. Keurig customer service was difficult to reach the first time the brewer went out and I had to wait forever for a tech. to call me back. Now with this third brewer they did not even bother to ask any questions they just sent a new one. So we will see how long this on lasts the others only lasted a month. If this one fails I will ask for a full refund and buy another brand.
