Love this machine...

We have owned our Keurig brewer for almost a year. We have hard water, but I use filtered water and a water filter in the machine. The machine quit working, said it was brewing but the motor wouldn't pull water from the reservoir. I called customer service FOUR times and they kept having to call me back. I cleaned the needles, de-scaled. The representative was not going to replace my machine because it was purchased on [...]! It was a brand new machine with a registered warranty. I LOVE this machine but I feel that customer service was RUDE! They are replacing my machine because I could not find any info in the warranty that states it is voided due to where the machine is purchased! My advice is to keep your receipt and register your warranty!!
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing Quality

Bought this unit as an upgrade to an old B100 brewer (original Keurig home unit). That old unit still functions after many years, but this "Platinum" unit is now dead after less than 16 months. Unit will not brew at all - pump appears to have died, or else the internal valves have failed. Should have known it was going to croak when it started brewing cups with less water than requested. Poor quality for the money.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile, "Made in China", Poorly designed internals
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I will try another type. This one went down three times, we followed the instructions for scaling and got it working again twice, but then it went down a third time and that was it. I like the cups, and will certainly follow the warranty for whichever one I get next.
Cons: Fragile, Didn't last a year

Worst system ever

The original model of the Platinum brewer was loud but worked for a while before it broke down. The newer model that has the iced tea function broke down within 3 months of use. Specifically, it would output less and less coffee. I had it replaced and within 3 months it broke down again with the same problem. At this rate, I will go back to drip coffee and not recommend Keurig altogether.
Pros: Single-serve
Cons: Breaks down in 3 months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine...for 3 weeks

On my second machine in one month. I purchased the first in August and it worked perfectly for three weeks until the PRIME message appeared. I followed the troubleshooting directions from the manual then called customer service who, nicely and patiently, walked me through additional troubleshooting options. The machine worked great for four more days until the PRIME message appeared, yet again. I called customer service who promptly sent a new machine without attempting further troubleshooting. While I love the convenience of the Keurig and their friendly customer service, I don't believe this particular model is worth the price and hassle. Buyer beware.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

K-cups are the best single brew. Variety of the k-cups are amazing (although a bit expensive). These machines do not last, at all. I'm going through my 4th machine (different models) in 4 years.
Pros: Good Coffee, Convenient
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Defective Pump, AWESOME Customer Service

We love Keurig coffee machines and the model we had before this one lasted around 3 years before we started having issues with it. We decided to replace it with the Platinum model and it worked great for about 6 months, then it started only partially filling the cup and draining water back into the water reservoir during the brew cycle. We descaled, cleaned the needle...nothing. At our wit's end we called Keurig customer service and expected the run around since we didn't have the receipt for the coffeemaker anymore. Much to our surprise, the representative was friendly and helpful, when we told her that we already tried descaling and cleaning the needles we got no argument whatsoever. She told us that she wouldn't make us go through that again and that she would ship us a new brewer today. The only thing she requested is that we send back the K-cup holder as proof of ownership. I don't know if the new brewer is going to be any better than the last one, but I give Keurig's customer service 5 stars.

Good coffee, poor machine

Loved it and the coffee for 20 months. One day it just started making half cups of coffee...then this week it just died. Have tried all the tips in the book but it just won't work..a few spurts of water and that is it. Am disappointed but got out my Krups pot that is over 10 yrs. old, and it still works. Wish the Keurig had a longer working life!!
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy, Short Working Life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
