Pump broke, after 1yr.

After a bit over a year of moderate use, this machine gave out on me. The pump stopped working, so no water flows into the cup. I guess it's time to buy another unit, perhaps from a more reliable vendor. I now see why Keurig only offers a 1yr warranty. So, buy with the knowledge that this will probably be an annual expense.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

I've used Keurig for about 4 years. 1st maker broke in 6 months and was replaced under warranty. 2nd lasted about 13 months. 3rd has lasted about 10 months. Time to find a new way to make coffee.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Fast, Easy Until It Breaks, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile, My 3rd Last Failed Toda, Pricey / Poor Value, Does Not Last

Water pump begins to fail at 18 months. Hard to open unit but YouTube video shows how to fix.
Pros: Fast

Frustrated and disappointed with another brand for a number of reasons (purchased only because of the name behind it), I decided to give Keurig a go since I fell in love with the idea of single cup servings and I'm SO glad I did! We've had our machine for a few months now and use it daily (it is only turned off approximately 4 hours/day) making 20+ cups/day. We love the variety of coffees and the convenience. Fresh coffee on demand! It's MUCH quieter and quicker than my other machine, it allows me to pick my cup size and has a larger water tank. We find it very easy to use, once programmed, we haven't changed the settings at all except to make an occasional different size cup of coffee now and then. We use it for coffee, tea (hot/iced), hot cocoa, hot cider. Hesitant because I thought all these coffee makers were the same, I took a chance and now I couldn't be happier! Now thinking of getting a second one for my office!

Disappointed with durability

Use everyday, provides a great cup of coffee at the right temperature. The only water I use is filtered, but had a problem with constant "prime" message after 2 months of use. Keurig replaced the unit without a problem, without a wait or hassle. I did notice the new unit has a filter included which the original didn't; if you have big hands, installation isn't easy.

Great Coffee Maker for "awhile"

The Platinum version is a great coffee make for a limited time. We have been using the Keurig systems now for 3 years and may have to go on to our third unit. The first one that we had stopped working with no solution. This one was replaced by Keurig. The second unit that we had last for about 18 months until the suction tubes underneath popped off and ruined the entire internal componenets of the unit, not to mention creating a wonderful mess all over the counter and behind our fridge. My wife and I were under the impression that if you spend this much money on a coffee make that it should last alot longer than we are seeing. For a fraction of the price we could buy a traditional coffee maker. I would not suggest buying the platinum version of this unit.

I love this brewer

I love this brewer BUT I am on my 5th one. Luckily they were all under warranty and Keurig is awesome about replacing it if it is still under warranty. First we run through all the motions to make sure what the problem is. Mine was that they all went to prime after 3 months to 5 months. I clean it religiously and I am the only user having one cup of coffee a day and one cup of tea so I don't understand why this keeps happening. One thing I did find out if you have done all the cleaning you are suppose to and it still goes to Prime shut it off and pull out the plug. Put the plug back in and turn it on and it works again. I don't know why this has happened to every one I nave owned but it has always been under warranty when this happens and like I stated earlier Keurig will replace it. They do stand by their warranty.
