Would not recommend Platinum Machine

I have had to have my Platinum Keurig replaced now going on the second time! It only lasts a year no matter how good of care you take of it. I constantly follow the directions and clean it all of the time and at the proper times and still now again only brews a partial cup.[...]
Pros: Coffee gets made quick, Stylish, Coffee tastes good
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes, Complicated
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really do love my Keurig, Ive been a big coffee drinker since i was 10 im 24 now and I bought this awesome machine because i live with my parents ..working going to college and im always on the go . My mother makes aweful weak coffee and my dad puts up with my moms bad coffee making skills so i was sufuring spending money on starbucks, Went and bought this baby and im hooked! But the downfall is I hate the fact i cant use my Big tall coffee Cup because its the one that fits in my cup holder in the car, so i have to use the measuring cup then in my cup .. but other than that i say buy this sucker! its awesome!!! LOVE! its LOVE!
Pros: Durable, Stylish, Great lines of coffee, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes, My cup is too tall

Very convenient

This is a great product for my wife and I. I am up for work at 5am and usually have one coffee at home and one for the commute. My wife gets up a couple hours later and she used to get stuck with burnt coffee that had been sitting in the coffee maker all that time. Now, she can make her own fresh cup. Sometimes it was hard to gage how much coffee we would drink and there would be leftover coffee in the pot that would end up getting dumped. No risk of that with the Keurig. The brew sizes aren't ideal though. I like a large cup of coffee in the morning, but the largest setting is too small for me. We bothe like a strong cup of coffee in the morning. We use the reusable k-cup filter most of the time so we can choose our strength. It's a cheaper option and we find the pre-filled k-cups make for a very weak cup of coffee.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

Platinum Brewing System by Keurig

I have had my brewer for a year and a half and love it. I haven't had any problems with it. My husband and I use it every morning. I usually have 3 cups and he will have 2 and sometimes 1 or 2 in the afternoon. My favourite is Timothy's Midnight Magic. I just wish the K Cups were more readily available in all stores. I get my Midnight Magic from Home Outfitters and it is the flavour that they always seem to sell out of.
Pros: Easy to use, Durable, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

This is the only bad model Keurig makes

I had to replace this particular model 4 times before I gave up and got the Cuisinar version on the K-cup brewer. I had B60 that is still working, the small model one is still working but this model stopped pumping the water after the first cup was brewed on every single exchanged models. I have tried every thing and it had the same failure occuring at about the same lenght of time. It was very frustrating because I really like all of their other models and coffee.
Pros: Large water resourvoir, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Sleek design, Stylish
Cons: Quits working in 3 months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Not reliable machine

This is our second machine. The first machine lasted for about 6 months. The second machine was a Christmas gift and we used it 2 days when it stopped working. We followed all the directions in the owners manual and then per their directions, we called Keurig. The customer service line was busy and we were told we would get a call back. No response to date. We're returning the coffee maker to the department store where it was purchased for a full refund.
Cons: Broke after 2 days use, Poor Customer Service, Unreliable

I love the variety of coffee available and the fact that my wife can have her decaf and I can have my regular. The machine was easy to setup and opperate.I am now on my second brewer in less than 2 yeasr. After 6 months the first unit stopped brewing a full cup. At most we were lucky to get half a cup from the brewer. [...].The second brewer is now malfunctioning. More water is returning to the resevoir than to the coffe cup, or no water is being pulled at all. The pump runs, shuts off, and nothing brews. I have tried descalliung the unit, but it will not pull the vinegar thru either.
