Miss my coffee

I received this brewer as a Christmas gift. One month later, the pump stopped working, but only when trying to brew multiple cups in a row. I've dealt with that issue for months and now I can't even get it to brew a single cup. I love my Keurig, but I really wish it would work!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile

Machine doesn't last

On my 4th Platinum since late Dec 09. First one lasted 3 months, then the pump quit. Second one lasted 3 months, then the pump quit. Third one lasted 31 days, pump quit working properly and you couldn't change the cup size, it stayed on the large cup. Reset the machine and it still did the same thing. Called Keurig AGAIN and had to talk with a technition on what it was doing. They said they would send out another unit even though they sounded like they were getting a little testy about sending me another one. They didn't offer the two free boxes of K-cups for my troubles like they did in the past. I must be getting to costly for them. I just wish they would solve their problems with this machine and send one that will last. Oh yeah, they want the whole machine back this time not just the K-cup holder, waiting on a return lable. Did receive the 4th one today...29 July. I'm sure I will have to call them within the very near future. So far they have been good about the warranty, that's one good thing I CAN say and I thank them for that.

I absolutely love my brewer. I was a little worried when reading some of the negative reviews, but a friend recommended it to me and I am so glad she did. I can not find anything bad to say about it and I have had it for almost a year. I clean it as recommended and use only bottled water as we have very hard water, I LOVE IT!
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish

Like many customers my first B77 was replaced after only 3 mos.with the Platinum B70. Same problem pump not dispensing adequate amount of water, second brewer was received [...] GREAT customer service but this unit brewed less than 10 cups before going toes up and room temperature! I will attempt to contact customer service and see if we can resolve this problem. Wish me well and good luck if you're considering purchasing a Keurig.

Platinum brewer is tarnished

We absolutely love the coffee and upgraded to the Platinum brewer 1 year ago. Since then Keurig has shipped me 3 brewers because of inconsistent performance. Even the last unit failed but I think i've figured out how to make it work consistently; never turn it off and never remove the water tank, just fill with a pitcher.Friends and family who have the same brewer have experienced similar problems as well.I recommend the coffee but not this brewer.

Never Again

Over the past 3 years, I have received a new replacement B70 brewer from Keurig about every 6 months. I love Keurig's coffee and also own a B50 which I have had for years and it still works just fine. When I initially purchased the B70, it failed on me and each subsequent B70 that has been shipped to me does pretty much the same thing. It works fine for about 6 monts and then becomes sluggish. So,,then when I clean the machine it either dies right away or in the case of this last one, the purge instruction came on, so referring back to the Keurig manual that came with the brewer I repeated the cleaning process. However this time, the vinegar came out cold from the brewer. Over the time I have owned the B70, I have had a dedicated line installed just for the brewer and have had that line checked and rechecked to ascertain that there was no issue. There is something wrong with this brewer, but personally, I am sick of fooling with it. If I am not mistaken, this was my 5th brewer. I put this last one in the trash, let Keurig know about the junk, and have been using my old reliable B50 since then. When it dies I will find another company that makes a reliable single-cup brewer. I will not buy another Keurig until they address the issues with these new brewers. Oh, forgot to mention that my daughter had a B60 that did exactly the same thing.

Cons: Very short life, Inefficient sensors, Electrical problem

My Love / Hate Relationship...

This is the one product that my hubby and I use EVERY single day, and it pains me greatly to be without it. Between the 2 of us, we consume 7-12 cups of coffee / tea daily. I'm on my 3rd Keurig now. The first was an older generation that had a loud pump, so we were thrilled when the Platinum Series premiered. We bought it from QVC at a great price and were immediately in love. Regrettably, the love-fest didn't last. The machine started fighting with us after about 4 months. Keurig sent us a new one (their customer service reps were AMAZING) but the replacement brewer is now worse than the first one. We have de-scaled it, cleaned it, de-clogged it, and still it will not brew. It spits hot water at us, but mostly drains into the water reservoir through the overflow valve. It shuts off spontaneously, and now I fear it is destined for the trash along with the first one. I am tempted to try the new Cuisinart / Keurig model, but at $200 buckaroos, I am a little afraid. I cannot live without one of these machines, but I also cannot afford to keep dropping money on one if it will not perform properly. At some point, I know they will probably quit replacing it for free, but I just don't know what else to, since I HAVE to have one of these in my life. I just wish it would behave!

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

I have had my Keurig for a little over a year, lately it won't brew the programmed size, if it brews at all. For the price I expect better quality. In theory it's great, however the durability is questionable

Cons: Not durable, Brew size unreliable, HARD TO CLEAN
