I LOVE my platinum brewer!

Initially I found that this model of keurig has a lot of people up in arms about it tasting like plastic. Mine did till I ran a large amount of vinegar water through the system (without the filter), when it got low I added more water. Then I rinsed out the tank and ran 2 full tanks of water through it, and the plastic taste is completely gone. My daughter loves making the lemonaid k-cups for herself. I use it for coffee in the morning and hot tea throughout the day. Sometimes I use my large mug, which requires me to run it twice, as the brewing sizes vary by 1/4 cup sizes from 1/2 c all the way up to 1 1/2 c. but it brews so fast that it doesn't hinder my love for it. I shove a k-cup in it and a mug when I get up. I go to the bathroom, and it's been done by the time I get back. I would recommend this for anyone who likes coffee OR teas.

Love it but it has a design problem!

We have had problems with the Prime light coming on after every cup brewed on 2 brewers. Keurig replaced them. Concerned how many brewers we will need to have until Keurig solves the design problem with the water reservoir sensor & the prime light. As long as they keep shipping me replacements we are ok I guess!Makes a FANTASTIC cup of coffee so we will not give up! Have lots of friends hooked now too!

Cons: On 3 Warranty Replacemnt

Cons: The original directions didn't mention anything about adding the filter which annoyed me because my hand froze from the cold water that was in the resevoir. ADD THE FILTER BEFORE THE WATER! About four minutes the system to be ready to brew wasn't true in my case. GRRR! I wish that all the directions were in one spot and not have an addendum. Pros: Once it's put together and it's ready, it's a fun, stylish little machine! I'm drinking a lot more tea and have found a lot more choices of decaf so I'm drinking more of it. For some strange reason when I used to use more traditional coffee makers sometimes the grounds would get all over the place while brewing. I haven't had that issue with my Keurig. I think it would be a bit more difficult. Oh and customer service is amazing! I had an idea for an accessory and the representative was so helpful and friendly! I love it! Love it! Loooooooove it! Did I mention I love it?
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Reliable, Easy to use, Fun, Fast, Durable
Cons: Poor Set Up Instructions, Complicated

Don't waste your money

Great for the first 18 months and then failed. Cannot be repaired or Keurig does offer that service. THey want to sell you another one. Have the bottom model and it is great, have purchased two for gifts.
Pros: Love the coffee
Cons: Failed After 18 Month
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this and use it all the time. I have had it for years now. One time I had an issue with my first brewer and I called them. It was over a year of owning it. I called and told them. They immediately replaced it with this better, newer version. It was simple and they even gave me free boxes of k cups. One time the mail man did not deliver it to my door which I need because I am in a wheelchair. I called and told them it was hard for me to get to the post office to pick it up. They were so sorry even though it was not their fault they still gave me more free coffee. I love the brewer but the COMPANY is even more top notch!!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Stylish, Durable
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

Awesome Customer Service

I've had the machine for just about a year and it wasn't working properly. I researched the documentation accompanying the brewer and couldn't even find the problem listed so I called in to customer service and expected them to take me through a bunch of steps to try and fix it and blah blah blah but NO! I told them the problem, gave them the serial number answered a few questions and the agent proceeded to tell me that they were sending me a new one! Truly not what I expected, I just thought I could get it fixed. 100% pleased with their customer service and am excited to have coffee again soon!

Quiet, Fast, Simple Great Coffee

The brewer is expensive & the k-cups even more so, but the convenience is worth it! Best to join the automatic shipment for K-Cups. I wouldn't go back to a regular coffee maker for anything. No wasted coffee and each cup is freshly brewed. Not just for coffee...try the tea, hot chocolate etc. Something for everyone!

I received my brewer as a gift, and absolutely loved it from the start. I was extremely disappointed when just before a year's time I started having trouble with it. I cleaned it and followed all instructions, and I was able to use it for a short time. Then it started leaking, wouldn't brew, and made all sorts of noises. After speaking with the company we purchased a new one at half price. Just hope it lasts longer, as they are expensive machines, but I really enjoy it.
