We use the machine daily to brew 6-8 cups of coffee. We are on our 3rd Platinum B70, we have had to use the warranty on the last 2 and Keurig just sent us the 3rd. It is a great product, just wish it would last longer than 6 months. [...]

Great coffee, poor equipment

Got first unit around February...needed a replacement by end of March. Now replacement is acting up like the original unit, so I am sure we will soon be calling about this one and getting it replaced. The units stop pulling water out of the reservoir after a couple of months of use. It definitely makes great coffee and is very easy to use. I really like all the different flavors. However, if the failure rate keeps going the way it has been going, I will soon be asking for a refund and trying a different brand. We will see. I would probably not recommend this unit until we get one that lasts for at least 6 months!

Bought one for a Christmas Gift. It worked 3 weeks and started to shut off and/ pour less than full cup. Would turn off to "reset". It started happening more and more. Reason we got was for under 1 minute cup, not a 5 minute/3 turn off cup of coffee. Call Keurig, said they never heard of this issue. Sent a replacement out [...] This machine is going on 7 months and only had the issue once during the whole time. Woman I worked with had same issue and second also worked much better than first.

We are on our 4th Keurig in 6 weeks!

I love how convenient the Keurig machine is...HOWEVER...this is our 4th machine in 6 weeks. We purchased our Keurig from [...] at the end of May. The first machine had to be returned because of a crack in the water reservoir, the second and third machines had to be returned because the pump stopped working. We are now on our 4th machine and it is still going strong after A DAY of use. My only consolation after all this trouble is that I get free K-cups from the sample pack every time I exchange the machine for another one. =/ I don't recommend the machine because of it's unreliability, but I do recommend Bed, Bath, and Beyond because of their flexible return policy.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am a one person household, so this machine is not over worked. I am on my 3rd machine since 11/09 and it is starting to fail. The warranty has been honored every time, but it a great inconvience. No I would not recommend this machine. I was very, very, excipted when I first got it.

I am so sorry to hear of so many dissatisfied customers for the Platinum. My husband nd I realy love ours. We have had it for 1 1/2 years and have had no problems whatsoever. I especially like using it when we have company. Guests can have a choice of coffees and choose between regular and decaf. It's not necessary for me to prepare two pots of coffee anymore. Hope Keurig can improve the defects I've read about. Guess we were just lucky!

Have had a b70 for a little over a year now and it just stopped working. A quick and painless call to customer service(jumped through some hoops doing the same stuff the manual tells you to do) and a replacement will be here in 5-10 business day's. Customer service seems to be a lost art in this day and time but Keurig has done it right.
