disappointing

Although it worked for a few weeks (I used it once a day) one day it stopped brewing full cups and only filled halfway (on same setting I always used). So I called Keurig and they replaced it. The replacement did not brew at all - I wasted probably a box of coffee trying to get it to brew. I called again, got it replaced. The third one is the same deal - will not brew at all! I am soooo frustrated with this coffee machine, wish it would brew like it should! It was great when it worked, but now I have 3 broken machines...

Well looks like we have the same problem as other, 4 months into a love affair with this coffee make out of the blue it went out. Now they are sending us another one but who knows when because they are out of stock. What are we suppose to do in the mean time, and especially with all the K cups if they can't get their act together and figure out why these machines only work 4 months.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I loved this product until it stopped working out of the blue. I read alot of reviews and they need to find out why it stopped working after one year. Very dissapointed and it's very expensive. Now I have a coffee maker that doesn't work and all my unused k cups. Don't know what to do!!!!
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Complicated

I am so disappointed about this product. I waited and waited to get this coffee maker, and finally got a Platinum machine as a gift from my husband in December of 2009. It is now April 2010 -- less than six months, and my machine is no longer functioning. WHAT A JOKE!!! I thought maybe it was just my machine/a fluke... I wish I would have read these comments before I got my Platinum machine. All of the negative comments you read here are true. Keuring makes a cheap product, with no hope of withstanding a daily cup of coffee use.
Cons: Poor Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use this brewer 3 times per day and after 1 year, the brewer didn't works. I think that keurig should improve the reliability of there brewers...
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Durable, Reliable, HARD TO CLEAN

Not happy-again

We purchased our coffee maker in November 2009; by January 2010 we were having the same issues as everyone else. I contacted Keurig and they sent us a replacement. Here it is May 2010 and we are having the same issues. The coffee maker may or may not brew a cup of coffee, may or may not over flow, may or may not, may or may not, may or may not-you get my point. So now we have to try and get a replacement or buy a new one. Not sure about other consumers but forking out $$$ every three months is not an option. I really like the Keurig-not this model!!

broke down at 16 months

I loved this Keurig. Only used 2-3 times per week. After 16 months the screen started flickering and it wouldn't brew - just stated brewing on screen, but nothing happened. After two days of this, screen went blank and machine did nothing. Very disappointing for a high cost machine. Warranty only one year. Keurig to give me discount off new platinum model, but not a substantial amount. Sounds like others had same issue.

Cons: Short Life, Unreliable

Great coffee when reliable

I received this coffee maker in March. My girlfriend raved so much about it I decided to break down and get one. I read the reviews and was afraid I would get one that so many of the other customers received. Then I thought "with so many complaints, I'm sure this reputable company pulled all defective Platinum coffee makers off the shelves and have since replaced them so I'm sure the one I receive will not have problems". NOT!!! I am on my second and have only had this one for two weeks and after the first brew, it shut off. My husband even put his K-Cup in the machine and when he closed it, it didn't blink or say "ready to brew". We had to shut the machine off and turn it back on to get it to brew. It's two weeks later and I just called Keurig to let them know I'm facing the many problems (as so many others)with my second machine. I called from work because that's the only time during the day I am able to handle personal business but was told by CS I need to be in front of the machine. I don't know why they waste time troubleshooting a machine when they already know it has a malfunction. Needless to say, I will have to call CS when I get home and maybe I will be able to troubleshoot the machine in between helping three children with homework, cooking dinner, doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, bathing the kids and getting them ready for bed and preparing for the next day. I thought I did enough putting out the large expense for this machine. When you have something for less than a month (at such a costly price) and it doesn't work AND the company knows it's a fluke, they should just replace the product. I will try again and again and again with this coffee maker until they get it right. When I am able to get it to work, the coffee is very good.
