Only worked a week

Broke after 2 weeks good thing I bought it at Costco already to much invested in this junk.Seems to have electrical shorts will pump sometimes then just shut down till you tap the top then might work 1 time then nothing.Don't trust to leave plugged in. BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Shuts off on its own

Actually, we were skeptable about getting a single coffee cup maker. It is awesome, love the flexibility to make teas, hot water, a cup of coffee whenever you want one. We had the maker for 2 weeks and then it decided to shut off after the first cup in the morning. I have to trick it to come back on by removing the water tank, then putting it back in, then changing the cup size, until the menu indicator came up then I could go in and add the time, and it will work for another day. I called the customer service, and there is a defect in the models sent out prior to Christmas. They are sending us a new one [...] It is an awesome machine! and the strength of your coffee is not weak, even when you use the large cup setting. Infact, you can run the k-cup on most coffees through twice and still have a great cup of coffee.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Shuts off can't get menu

doesn't work

started to shut off by itself during the first week I had it. Then it stopped working completley, would not pump water. Called customer service, and they are sending me a new one, but they are out the silver. Sounds like a defect in these for a lot of people. Hopefully they fixed it in the ones they are sending out.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Fragile

Pump to reservoir stopped working

The pump to reservoir does not calculate. Only get half cups of coffee so have to do twice for each cup. It is inconsistent as once in awhile it actually pumps correctly. I bought the Platinum Christmas before last and it stoped working correctly even before the de-scaling sign came on. We love the concept but are very frustrated to have to fiddle with it to get 12 ounces.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings

This machine is buggy. Kept turning off by itself. Started having trouble after a month. Keurig Customer was terrible. They first had us clean the nozzle, when that didn't work, they had us de-scale (didn't make sense after a month and we use bottled water in it). I wouldn't buy another and I am selling my Green Mountain stock after the experiece.

I too experience the pump & shut-down issues on day 4 of owning this machine. I had seen these reviews on the QVC website & was hesitant, at first, but most of the reviewers said that Keurig & QVC were both accomodating them & replacing the units [...] I figured by the time I'd bought mine the problem would have been resolved... I called Keurig, instead of returning it to the store, & told them the problems I was having. The rep took my serial # and said that they have corrected the problem & that they were shipping out replacements to anyone having this problem & that I don't need to send the defective one back! It seems like the pump may be losing it's prime & I've found that if i clear the excess water from the feed, @ the bottom, it works alright for a while. For the price of this unit that is still unacceptable! I will re-post when the replacement arrives this week...

Cons: Design problem wpump, Randomly shuts down

I've had the coffee maker for a month trying to get it to work, but it will not stay on. I've read the book from cover to cover and still not successful. Time to return to the store.

Love the coffee..Hate the broken brewer

A friend of mine had suggested this brewer to me, as I love a good cup of coffee. I bought my first one and it lasted for 3 days, took it back and am now on my second brewer, which I have had for about 2 weeks and just this morning it has now stopped brewing! This is really disappointing, because the coffee is excellent but the quality of these machines is poor. For the expense, this machine should atleast last 10 years. When I called the company after the first one stopped working, I did have good customer service [...]. They did say there has been a problem with this unit's magnet in the heating element. [...] I will probably purchase another unit but will wait awhile till I do so.
