Perfect coffee maker

I love this thing. My wife does not drink coffee, so when ever I make coffee it is pretty much a pain for one person. My wife likes teas. So now in the morning I make my wife a cup of tea for her travel to work and me a cup of coffee. Takes about 3 minutes to do both. I will never part with this. I do hope however that the K-cup prices will go down. Also you must buy the coffee filter so you can use regular coffee in this as well as tea bags.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Quick, Multiple Settings, Durable, Stylish
Cons: K-Cups are Expensive

Best cup of coffee

I was given this Keurig coffee maker for Christmas and was excited when i brewed my first cup of coffee. I had a friend come over and after I brewed her a cup she went out and got her one. The unit is easy to use and you dont have to worry about nasty coffee filters anymore. The reason I did not give it 5 stars as mine started acting up just 3 weeks after I recieved it, I contacted Tech support and they were more than willing to help me out with this issue. They are sending me a brand new Keurig not a used one as the tech stated to me they do not send used ones out only new makers.The way they handle your issue is nothing less than professional they will do whatever it takes to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase and machine and they make sure you know you have bought the best rewer out there

Not So Fast

Before I begin my review I wanted to let those thinking about purchasing a Keurig to know it has one advantage over the Tassimo, you can brew your own coffee. However, I concur with one of the other Keurig coffee owner who felt, jinxed. We purchased a Keurig Select (B77 Model) from [...]as an upgrade... twice. The first time on Nov. 7, 2009, right away my wife and I began using it. We noticed immediately compared to our first Keurig (Elite-Target) it was so much more quiet and our selection of cup sizes were better for us since we drink larger cups than the Elite. Two weeks later after programming it to our liking, it began to shut off on it's own as well as in the middle of brewing a cup of coffee. [...] Thinking that it was just a glich I purchased another one on Nov. 25, 2009 we began to use it, and 3 weeks later it started again, but this time I contacted the tech support explained to them about the overheating at the top of the unit (CPU). He sounded so surprise and was suppose to have someone contact me they never did. I have been on the Keurig website searching and researching contemplating buying another unit but I don't think so. I have had a Tassimo longer than my original Keurig and will probably buy another one this time the Bosch. I will miss the Keurig for it's ability to use your own grounds, [...]Hopefully the engineers at Keurig will receive the reviews and correct the overheating problem and contact me with good news.

Not to happy right now!

I had problems with it from the first day. It only makes half cups and shuts off by itself. Not happy for all the money it cost. I am getting another one to replace the first one. I will see if this one works better. When it does make the right cup of coffee, it is good.

We would like to use it every morning but are having problems. It is lovely to look at but makes one cup and then shuts off. There must be something in the valve between tank and resevour. We have used the Vinigar clean out method and have tried lowering the water temp and have cleaned out the cup. We are at a loss on what to do next! I would like a replacement of this Platinum machine or a refund to my son who bought it for us for Christmas. Reading the reviews, find that we are not the only ones with this problem. The Tec support is non exsistant..

Shuts off after one cup!

I love the convenience of brewing a single cup with no mess, and variety of coffee available for this brewer. No question about it. I also like the fact that I can control the temperature of the coffee as sometimes I am wanting a mild brew. My first brewer broke down after 3 years of great service and so I ordered a new one from the factory as I got a discount in price being that I was an existing customer (great customer service). But since then I have returned three brewers because they turn off for some mysterious reason after brewing the first cup of great tasting coffee. I have to say that the customer services department is awesome! I hope my next replacement brewer will work longer than a month.
