I make 1-2 coffee's a day and maybe one of something at night.
Pros: Fast, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Doesnt last, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I drink coffee all day long, every day - from when I first wake up in the morning until right before going to sleep. I taste-test coffees just like I taste wines (and I make notes for each, also). I keep journals for coffee tastings (and wine tastings). I need coffee makers that will last, so I hope this one will last. I have all kinds of coffee makers, from drip brewers to old-fashioned stove-top percolators to brikis (the little pots Greek and Arabic and Turkish coffees are boiled in) to various espresso makers (from stove-top to electric pressure espresso/cappuccino makers). I have wanted the Keurig Platinum machine for some time, now, and hubby finally ought it for me a few weeks ago for my birthday! I am a homemaker, and since I drink so much coffee (not always caffeine - half caf, as well as decaf) that it's hard to keep fresh coffee ready for me, but the Keruig takes care of that problem and makes me a hot fresh cup of coffee each time! I really love that! And I can use My K-cups to create my own coffee blends from my own home-roasted coffees that I love and don't wish to stop drinking, also. My only complaint about the My K-cups is that they make a weak cup of coffee, even when you follow directions explicitly; for some reason, you must use four (4) the amount of coffee that you should need to use (ie - fill and use FOUR (4) My K-cup baskets) to get the proper strength that ought to be achieved by ONE (1) My K-cup basket according to Keurig... What's with that??? :( *dislike* I roast my own green coffee beans at home in my own roaster, and I roast to a really strong City Roast, so it's not an issue of a mild roast coffee... I really should NOT need to have to *buy and use* FOUR (4) My K-cup refill baskets -PLUS- FOUR (4) TIMES the amount of coffee to achieve the proper strength coffee! No! Everything else about the Platinum brewer is great, so why this???
Pros: Easy to use, Ready When I Want Coffee, Multiple Settings, Various Settings Results, Best Way For Freshest Cup, Energy Efficient Timer, Fast, Wide Variety As I Like It, Fits Small Kitchen Space, Most Cup Sizes
Cons: My-kcup Makes Weak Coffee, HARD TO CLEAN, K-Cups are pricey

Bought 2, Both Leaked within 3 Years

Bought 2 units that get daily use. Within 3 years, both units began to leak water internally. Also, fill level / amount is inconsistent and sometimes will fill a cup half full, while at other times will overflow the rim.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Inconsistent Fill Amount, Leaks Water

Cheaply made, not worth your money

Had one and it broke within the year warranty 1 year warranty). Same complaint you see all over online...made noise but no coffee comes out. Keurig DID send a new one. New one broke 2 months after the warranty. Keurig will not replace. They don't stand by their products. A coffee machine should last much longer than a year and when 2 have the same problem, and so many online complaints regarding the problem, there's a problem with the product in general. My bf had the same exact problem with his Special Edition one. Save your money and get something more reliable.

Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Warranty, Fragile

I use this every day. I was having a problem with it suddenly not filling with the right amount for the size chosen, but it seemed to fix itself.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Multiple Settings

Love my Keurig

I have had a Keurig since 2005 and I use this brewer several times a day. I love it in the summertime for my iced coffee. Just put ice in a glass and brew a 4oz cup. Yummy! As for the noise some complain of, I use it as a cue to when my coffee is ready. And yes, I have had one replaced.

Quiet & Fast - Just the Way I Like It!

This brewer is fantastic! It is the third Keurig I own. The Special Edition (#1) was far too noisy but I brought it into work & use it there. Can't hear the noise through the machines! The little guy (#2) I am keeping for a back-up...you never know when I'll go somewhere & want it with me! The Premier (#3) is my newest baby & it's so quiet that I can sneak a very early morning cup of coffee without waking anyone. It's fast to heat up & really fast at brewing...I honestly don't know how I got along without it up to this point because I love my coffee & have several cups a day. Keurig is a great company. Reliable craftsmanship is the benchmark of a great product. Keurig has that in spades...especially with the K-75 Platinum Brewer. Buy it & you won't be disappointed.
