Lasted 3 weeks before it died!

I received this $179 coffee maker for Christmas. It lasted 3 weeks before it started to blink "PRIME" and refused to work. I did all of the things that the book told you to do to no avail. Called Keurig. After doing all of the things again while on the phone with the impolite customer rep, it still would not work. I was told a replacement would be shipped in 3-5 days and an email would be sent to verify the date of shipment. I called back 1.5 weeks later after no coffee maker or email and was told that they were out of stock. Called again 3 weeks later and I was told that they were out of stock and they didn't know when they would be in. Seriously!!?? The company is out of stock?! I was told this time that I could have another color. That was not offered the first or second time I called. Very disappointed in the quality of the coffee maker for the price and also with the company in general. The customer service reps are very cold and seem unhappy to help. Just an odd experience from the very beginning. Still no coffee maker, apology email or projected delivery date of replacement. WOW. I am absolutely appalled at all of this for almost $200!
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings

Disappointed in the durability

Second Keurig and true to form it quit working after only a little over a year. Keurig's answer? Buy a new one. Not....
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Most People Seem To Agree, Pricey / Poor Value, Lasts Only A Year

I use my K75 everyday and have not had a single issue, as long as you follow the directions and use FILTERED water it's fine. The machines are a little costly but if you like a FRESH cup of coffee each time it is well worth it. Why brew a 12 cup thing of coffee and have it sit on the burner and get stale or have a burnt taste when you can have a fresh cup each time and not worry about leaving the thing on if you're in a hurry for work.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

Platinum Perfection

This was a Christmas gift for one of my sons from one of my other sons. At first, I was a little intimidated by the whole thing until I saw my youngest son make a cup of cocoa. So I figured if my 13 year old can do it, by gosh so can I. I drink a lot of coffee everyday. I love this machine. It's beautiful, it works flawlessly and yet...simple. I definitely recommend Keurig brewers!
Pros: Beautiful, Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Keurig Does Not Repair

Love the keurig but failed after 17 mon

Really like the product, but I am quite disappointed that it failed after only 17 months. The water just pumped right through the coffee maker and would not heat the water. They are sending a replacement at reduced cost but still this is a lot of money for a coffee maker.
Pros: Fast

very good k-cup machine. the one draw back is the largest cup size is 12oz. otherwise this is the perfect machine

The "PRIME ISSUE"-PLATINUM K70/75

Everything is great about my Platinum Keurig Home Brewer... However, after 4 Months it did have an issue where the screen said PRIME for 10 consecutive days. As it turns out, the reason for this everyday PRIME Issue was due to a faulty Cold Water Tank*** When you lift the Cold Water Tank, there should be A small amount of water in the small black reservoir, but there should NOT be any water above that area, once you've removed the Cold Water Tank. In turn, that IS What Causes the Machine to say PRIME, day in & day out. Hope this helps you all. ;-)

Cons: Water Tank Leaks, Fragile

Prime/Refill mechanism

Am on my 3rd Keurig. Bought at Costco and it worked fine for almost 1 year. Then the Prime light came on and I cleaned, descaled and replaced filter and it did not get rid of Prime reading. Costco was very good in giving me a refund so I replaced it with the same model sold by Costco. The brewer worked well for 2 months and then the mechanism that pulls the water from the water canister would not turn off and kept running. It finally turned off and the blinking light came on. I refilled with water but the blinking did not stop. I cleaned the brewer as I had done before and that did not correct the problem. Returned it to Costco and will try it 1 more time. I will not replace it with another Keurig if I have problems again.
Pros: Easy to use, Fast
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
