LOVE this coffeemaker

We purchased this coffeemaker right after Christmas. We love it! We are a family of five and each person gets to choose their own coffee or hot cocoa and there is no waste. It is easy to use and we love trying all the different Kcups. We used to spend over $12 a day at our local large chain coffee donut shop, so we are saving money using this machine. I can't comment on the durability yet, since it is brand new, but I hope it lasts because this is the most we have ever spent on a coffeemaker. I don't think it makes that much noise, like some reviewers have said. It is normal brewing sound. And it is super quick! Awesome machine so far!
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Good brewer BUT...

We love the coffee our Keurig makes but we have now had THREE brewers go bad. The first two were "office" units we bought from a friend who sold to small business. The third was a platinum. I'm not sure if this is a recurring problem but it is getting VERY frustrating. Maybe we need to try the brewer from a different manufacturer.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Not durable, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This machine really makes drinking coffee or tea so much easier. I wish other products were this simple with the same perfect results. Keurig really hit a homerun with this one! Fantastic job!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, No Messy Coffee Grounds, Perfect cup everytime, Durable, Easy to use, No filters to buy, Multiple Settings

We have had the Platinum for one year now. It's fantastic. And when we did have trouble, Keurig quickly replaced either parts or the entire machine for us. Great service. After trying our machine, we know of at least 7 others who have purchased a Keurig! If you could try it, you would buy it.

Best Coffee Ever

My friend, Mary, got me interested in the Keurig system as she has one and seemed to love it. After much research into the various models, I chose the Platinum mainly for its large (60 ounce) reservoir size. I can honestly say that coffee out of my Keurig is as good, and in most cases better, than the stuff I used to pay a small fortune for. Every time, and I mean every time, I get a consistent excellent cup of coffee. My kids get a kick out of making me a cup in the morning and they love the hot chocolate it makes. Do yourself a favor and get one of these, you will not regret it.

Problems with Quality!?

We are on our second unit. I think there's a design/quality problem. Sometimes it will draw water from the resior, then just sit there. Sometimes it will then brew after 5-10 minuts on its own... other times we need to power cycle it. I'm told it's clogged... well, if that were the case, it wouldn't start working on its own or after a power cycle or two. Considering switching to a Tassimo after 6 loyal years with Keurig.

Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hope it never quits on us

I bought the Keurig B70 for my wife as an xmas gift. She loves this machine and shows it off to all and so far 3 of our friends bought it. Why i decided to buy this was everytime we made a pot of coffee in the old Mr. Coffee which just went out in the trash today no matter how careful you were pouring the water in it spilled everywhere plus we wasted alot of coffee. Now we wake up the brewer is ready just pick your flavor and push the brew button and in like 30 seconds you have a perfect cup of coffee and no mess to clean. I have read of people saying that it is loud I think what they might hear is there nieghbors coffee pot running. The Kcups could be a little cheaper but you do get a great cup of coffee or tea which my wife loves the chia latte I have not tried yet cause she wont let me.

Excellent alter. to espresso machine

I was skeptical about price and trendiness, but gave into my wife's wishes and happy I did. She prefers a medium-smooth roast, I like a dark-bold roast. Now neither of us have to compromise. I would like to see the price of K-cups come down and expect they will the more popular they become. Also I don't like to leave it on all the time, so I would like to see the power switch relocated to a more covenant location. Happy I have the choice of using the K-cups or my own grind. I have moved my espresso machine under the counter, because you can get just as creative with this unit.

Cons: Power switch on rear, Limited Cup Sizes, K cup price
