Keurig Name poor coffee maker

This is a great invention but let me tell you a very expensive coffee maker and k cups for what you are getting in return! I had purchased the Platinum ,nothing but trouble from the box, returned, replaced after about a year it got hammered in my driveway! I have had Mr.Coffee in white to turn dark it lasted so long and actually threw them away still working! Every review I read its the same! Save your money for retirement!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Durable Enough!

Make 5-6 cups everyday. Had to replace the brewer twice in less than 3 years. First under warranty, second with replacement discount. Like the unit, but just not durable enough. Probably would not have replaced it the second time, but had just purchased a large quantity of K-cups.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

I am now on my 3rd Keurig. The first one did not last the full year and was replaced under the warranty and now just past the warranty, my second one has stopped working. I use filtered water only and follow the maintenance required by descaling and cleaning the needle. This product is way too expensive to be replacing every year. This is my last time. 3 strikes and you're out!
Pros: Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Liked the convenience but not the price

Loved this coffee maker when I first got it, then. . . it started with the needle getting plugged. Then the pump failed and Keurig will not let you buy the part, just a new coffee maker. Bottom line is, it is way to expensive to cause so much trouble. Totally disappointed!!
Pros: Easy to use, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used all kinds of keurigs and I like the platnium the best. I like the auto shut off feature. It looks stylish and has a small enough foot print to replace any drip coffee maker.Keep up the great work..
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
I would recommend this to a friend!

not as durable as my "old" Keurig Elite
on November 9, 2012

I purchased this as an upgrade to my Elite. Only lasted 2 years. Of course, it was out of warranty. Customer service was not very sympathetic....contrary to what my friends said...they had issues before Keurig became really popular, and rec'd NEW brewers even when out of warranty! Guess Keurig got too big, or started losing $ due to poor quality. If I didn't have a case of kcups to use, I would NOT have bought another. My Elite is still chugging away in my cabin up north! But, that is closed for the season. Think twice before buying.
