Only 12 months?

After reading other posts I know that at least I am not alone! After 10 months it started to brew less amounts of coffee, at 12 months nothing! Even after following all maintenance guidelines and only brewing 10 cups a week, one would think these are more durable. I have an email to Keurig and hope they will stand by their product. The warranty ended 5 days ago. Coincidence? Don't know. I hope this will be resolved and good customer service prevails. I will be back with and update.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Another broken Keurig

My first Keurig lasted almost two years then the pump went out and it started brewing half cups or nothing. Purchased a new one and it malfunctioned within one month. Two exchanges later I finally got a machine that was not a "lemon". I have had my previous Keurig about a year and it has happend again. Half cups and will not brew. I LOVE the Keurig concept and have told all my friends and co workers to purchase machine for their homes. So disappointed and frustrated since I am sitting here before work unable to have my morning coffee.
Pros: Stylish, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

Great when it works

I don't usually write reviews but, after reading most of reviews of this coffeemaker, I felt I had to write about my experience also. I, like many who have written before me, will be going on my third coffeemaker in less than two years. The machine brews a great cup of coffee "when it works." However, as I discovered yesterday, my brewer (the second one) stopped brewing. You press the brew button and nothing happens. The "brewing" notation stays on for minutes, then goes off but in order to clear the display you have to pull the plug and reset it. Even then, when you try it again, nothing comes out. Yes, customer service is excellent. They replace your brewer after the paper clip ordeal, and descale ordeal etc. But I could have told the rep on the the phone that descaling wasn't going to help. But she wanted me to do it so I did. That was yesterday. Today, I had to call back and tell her it's still not pumping water.I agree with all the posts here. Keurig needs to get it right. There is obviously a serious problem with their high end coffeemakers. We are the people who take the time and effort to call. What about all those people who just throw the machine away? Anyway, I wonder if the Breville or Cuisinart models have the same problem. It would be interesting to hear from someone who purchased one of these. Breville is a quality company and their products are very pricey. I can't believe they would sell something with so many problems. I'd definitely spend the [$] if I knew I would have years of great, reliable service from the product.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Fast, Easy to use, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Stops working suddenly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Durable enough...

Know that nothing lasts, your water isn't w/o dissolved metals/minerals, and Keurig DEFINITIVELY stands behind their products. When it fails (it will eventually), they will replace it. Clean it if you can find the time; I did but only after my first started failing a bit. More importantly USE it frequently, and it will last over a year (based on my two B70's). Notably, one I let sit a bit longer (moved our office into town w/all the coffee shops) bad move for the keurig. I really like the unit and moreover the company behind it. They replaced my konked unit despite being well beyond warranty. Kudos keurig, well worth the costs of ownership.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Durable
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

This brewer will only last about a year

On my second one in just over 2 years. Use this brewer about 4 times a day, I believe these units are designed to "short cup" you after your 1 year warranty is over. IMHO for[$] this is a price of junk. I will not buy another. Sorry Keruig, good concept junky products.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile

One month after purchasing this unit the water stopped pumping. The water resevoir keeps telling me there is no water when in fact it is full. Called Keurig and all they want me to do is keep trying different things to get it to work. VERY disappointed in this machine and in Keurig Customer Service. Will not purchase again.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

In Love with this machine!!

HOnestly, this machine is great. I did my homwework for quite some time before purchasing and I admit I was a bit nervous. I have had this for 3 days, so we will see how it holds up and I will update my review. First, FYI, it DID leak the first few cycles I used it. A small amount of water leaked out of the base when I was running the first 2-3 plain water rinse-machine cycles. (reason for only 4 stars)I was instantly heartbroke! However, it has NOT done this since!! Perhaps getting it going & rinsed &?? I don't know. If it happens again I will not be happy. I ran about 6 tall mugs of just plain water through the machine on brew to clean it out when new & rinse any "plastic" tastes. My coffee does NOT taste like plastic!!! It is wonderful and I am a bit of a coffee snob! I have seen some people complain of this but I don't sense it AT ALL. Make sure that if you want BOLD you can handle it! :)I bought this as a bundle for [$] at [@]!!! It came with 60 coffees and a K Cup. Price can not be beat, not even on [@]. Get one now :)))I have made about 15 different varieties/flavors of coffees, made hot chocolate for the kids, made apple cider, and even used it for hot water for my oatmeal. ALL were tests it HAD to pass in order for me to justify keeping it!!** PASS!! **Yes it is an expensive machinge. HELLO! So is a Bunn and any other GREAT coffee machine. I am not a fan of the "waste factor" when it comes to the plastic KCups and the environment. Like we need more plastic in the landfills! I am hoping that eventually they can be recycleable or biodegradeable or something... In the meantime, I plan on using my own coffee with the KCUP or an Ecko cup. MUCH cheaper that way anyways!I drink exclusively organic coffee ($$$). WIth the KCUP or an ecko cup the price of the filled kcups becomes a moot point. I will still buy the same organic coffee beans, grind them once a week, and fill a kcup. Especially when hubs is home. However, when hubs is traveling (a lot!) then I WILL just pop in a kcup & be sipping in about 2 minutes from power up to my recliner!!TIPS: DO remember to take out the used Kcup.DO remove the black Kcup holder BEFORE inserting your own KCup/coffee (DUH! read the instructions people!!)DO DO DO pay attention to your cup size on the LCD display!! It would be somewhat easy to have the travel mug size selected with only a regular size coffee cup. result=overflow!YES it MAKES just hot water!! Simply don't put any coffee or kcups in the machine and VOILA- instant hot water. In summary: my hubs will roll his eyes at me and think it's a ridiculously $$ piece of gimmicky technology. BUT he's a pioneer. (LOL!!) I, on the other hand, LOVE it, LOVE the coffees, LOVE it ALL. Get one NOW. Enjoy your new machine. BLISS :)

Not worth the extra money

We have had nothing but problems recently after only owning it for less than a year. The K cups are very expensive & although we enjoy the coffee, the breakdowns that we have had recently are not worth it.
