Not for the long haul.

I received my Keurig as a gift in late November of 2010 to use in my hospital room while I was being treated for leukemia. Loved it. It is now August of 2012 and my Keurig is dead. A coffee maker this expensive should last longer than that. Plus the K-cups are way too expensive. If you have money to burn, go for it. Otherwise, you will be disappointed in about a year and a half. BTW, I installed and repaired coffee brewers for almost 30 years.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Being a realist, I never thought I'd need anything other than my basic 1-cup brewer. A dear friend gifted me with my own brewer and I realized I was mistaken. It's easy to use and mess free. It's easy to clean the few dribbles there are. Now, I don't see how I could have done without my keurig.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Stylish, No fuss No Muss, Multiple Settings, Durable
Cons: No Bedside Service

Weak coffee!

I like a large cup of coffee. If I select the large size the coffee is too weak. You need a brew strength selector. Any size beyond medium is unsatisfactory. Also your cups are way too expensive. I only use the refillable filter and will never buy the individual cups. Keurig is a great idea. Just finish it!

Top notch coffee brewer

We have had our machine for several years now and really love it. It makes perfect cup of coffee every time. Great choice of coffees and teas though we wished there was oolong tea. No waste, no fuss, this is one great machine.

i've read other comments about Platinum brewer problems after a short time of use, but I'm here to tell you that I have had mine for over 4 years now, and have never had a single problem..works as good as the day I bought it! I love the convenience of the K-cups and the variety offered. Before buying my Keurig, I had a Senseo...The Keurig runs circles around it! I'm a happy Keurig customer!!

Easy to use machine.

I really enjoy my machine. My family uses it beyond coffee and drinks. My kids will use it to heat water instead of using an over their head microwave. The uses for this machine went far beyond my anything I could have come up with. I did have a problem with it not running once. But I read that you can air out the water line so I tried it and it worked. Apparently sometimes a bubble will get trapped. Beyond that one single issue it's perfect!
Pros: Fast, Multiple Settings, Durable, Easy to use, Stylish
