Perfect for any household

I received this for Xmas and I have used it daily since. It is by far the greatest coffee/tea maker ever. Hubby loves the one cup system as he is running out the door in the morning and I love how easy it is to make myself a cup of tea. No more waiting on the tea kettle in this house! I also, love how simple it was to use. No more complicated than any old coffee pot. The variety of k cups is great too!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Expensive, HARD TO CLEAN

Pricey disposable brewer

I have had two of these. The first one lasted 1.5 yrs; the second one quit after 8 months. I thought maybe the first was a lemon so I bought another one. I just bought the cheaper model to use up the cases of K-Cups I had just purchased. If this one gives out then that will be the end of my Keurig purchases. When it worked, I loved it.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than I expected

This is the perfect coffee maker for any household. I get up for work at 4:30 & this makes a super fast cup of coffee to get my morning going. I like to have a cup of coffee once in a while when I come home (around 4:00pm) and with the Keurig I don't have to make a full pot - just a cup for me. My husband is retired and he drinks coffee all morning - he uses the Keurig because he says each cup is fresh when he is ready for one. When his friends come over for a cup of coffee they can have a fresh brewed cup. With the variety of choices each person can make a cup as strong or mild as they like. LOVE this product!!!

Excellent upgrade from the Elite

I bought this one because I wanted a larger reservoir than the Elite had. I gave my Elite to my younger daughter for Christmas and my older daughter and husband received an Elite from me on their joint birthdays. So now we are a family of Keurig coffee drinkers. We love the coffee and the machines! I love my Platinum too because it is very quiet and I really like the looks of it.

Awesome!

It is awesome! I got it for Christmas and brought it to college with me :) I wish you could empty the inside reservoir since it weighs a lot more and you have to leave the box on its side when travelling so it doesn't leak... Overall it is an awesome product and I use it every day!!
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish
Cons: Not easy to cart around

The Platinum brewer

The Platinum brewer is my second machine from Keurig. My first one was very noisy to say the least, but I didn't mind because I knew I was getting a great cup of coffee, so I upgraded to the Platinum series and have never regretted it. My son loves my old one too. I am very sorry to see so many people are having problems with their units! This is a wonderful product and I would not know how to live without mine.

Mostly Happy

Like many other people I have had the pump issue twice and I have my 3rd on the way. I had the special edition brewer before this and never had an issue. Every time I had a problem they resolved it right away and sent me a brand new brewer. The only thing I don't like about that is it is wasting a lot landfill space. When it is working it is my favorite kitchen appliance and wouldn't trade it for the world. To all of those who have had the issue and failed to call support you really need to just pick up the phone and be nice to the customer service people, because they are very helpfull. One of my biggest gripes is people that complain but don't do anything about it.

Shuts off after one cup!

I love the convenience of brewing a single cup with no mess, and variety of coffee available for this brewer. No question about it. I also like the fact that I can control the temperature of the coffee as sometimes I am wanting a mild brew. My first brewer broke down after 3 years of great service and so I ordered a new one from the factory as I got a discount in price being that I was an existing customer (great customer service). But since then I have returned three brewers because they turn off for some mysterious reason after brewing the first cup of great tasting coffee. I have to say that the customer services department is awesome! I hope my next replacement brewer will work longer than a month.
