Love it!

To avoid clogging and frequent descaling I use bottled water. I've had my unit for 3 years and have only had to descale it 3 times by running vinegar thru it. We have it set to turn on for when we get up in the morning and shut off 2 hours later. We leave it on longer on the weekends. It has only short-cupped once; wasn't a big deal, we unplugged it, made sure it was clean, and it re-set itself just fine. I'd have a hard time replacing it with anything else - I'm in love.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Need to use bottled water

Good When It Works

Bought the Platinum and stored my Special Edition Unit (per instructions) for vacations and when entertaining large groups. Surprise, it didn't work when needed - had to throw away as it was out of warranty and can't be repaired. Now, my Platinum is days away from warranty expiring, and it is on the blink. My problem compares to all the other reviews with this particular machine. Maybe a recall is in order. Anyway, the representative said I should hear from a specialist in 48 hours, and that was early yesterday. Have purchased my two, 4 minis for our college students, bought my dauther a Platinum (which has been replaced twice), and have referred many of my friends to this coffeemaker. Hopefully the manufacturer will eventually get it right.
Pros: Easy to use, Efficient Fast, Love It-until it stops, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish
Cons: Can't repair-must toss

Love my Keurig!

We've had our machine about 6 months now - due to some of the issues I've seen people write about, I wanted to wait for a bit to give my two cents. I really love this thing, and I love most of the coffee I've tried as well. The only complaint I have is that sometimes I will start the brew cycle and the machine will basically freeze up. I often have to unplug it to get it to reset itself. It's inconvenient but not really a show stopper in my opinion. It doesn't happen often - maybe once a month, if that. I make myself a cup of coffee every morning, and my husband and I each have a cup after dinner most nights. I will drink several cups each weekend morning as well, so our brewer sees a fair amount of use. All in all we are very pleased with our purchase and I would buy another one in a heartbeat!

Cons: Inconsistent Performance, HARD TO CLEAN

Couldn't live without it!

I'd have a very hard time living without my Keurig! I've had my machine for 3 years now (Dec. 2007) and it's still going strong! I've read through some of the other reviews and am surprised to hear some of the issues others have had. I use my machine a minimum of 3 times a day during the week, probably 7-8 times a day on weekends. I've never even descaled it (I don't even know what that entails!). The only thing I can figure is maybe it's due to using filtered water from the refrigerator -- I think our city water from the tap tastes nasty, so I never use it. Regardless, I LOVE my Keurig and it will definitely be replaced with another whenever this one decides to kick the bucket!
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Durable

Problems! Research Keurig B70 issues...

I bought my first B76 December 2009 to take to work. I bought my second January 2010 for home. My work machine went out and had to be replaced (due to not pumping water... a HUGE issue with this model). Within a month, my home machine did the same. It starts by dispensing a partial cup here or there, and then the motor just runs until it shuts down. I use distilled water and have the water filters. I clean and descale as recommended. I've got it down to a fine art, after multiple conversations with technical support. Long story short, I am on my second machine at home and my third at work. After my initial replacement of both, I questionned the issues, and they told me it was just a bad 2009 holiday batch... WRONG. I just received my third home machine in October, and it is now having to be turned off and on to get it to work... it is headed down the same path, just far quicker. My work machine started short-cupping a few weeks ago and is not pumping water 25% of the time (you have to remove the resevoir, replace it, remove it, replace it, turn it off and on until it starts pumping... it will eventually stop altogether). I have friends with the less expensive B66, and they have never had problems. The B70 and B76 have complaints all over the internet. When they work, they're absolutely awesome... when they stop, and you're looking at your fourth and fifth replacements, you start wanting to call the BBB. Beware of this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I HAVE 2 OF THESE COFFEE BREWERS AND JUST ORDERED MY 3RD. I HAVE ONE IN THE KITCHEN AND ONE IN THE FAMILY ROOM. I AM GETTING ONE FOR OUR SUMMER HOME. THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. LOVE THE FACT THAT I CAN HAVE WHAT EVERY FLAVOR I WANT WHEN I WANT IT. MY HUSBAND IS A TEA DRINKER AND LOVES THE WAY IT MAKES HIS TEA. WE ORDER ALL OUR CUPS ON KEURIG SITE, BEST PRICE ALL AROUND. THAT IS HOW I GOT MY 3RD BREWER FOR 1/2 OFF. DON'T THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS ONE. YOU WILL WANT ALL THE DIFFERNT SIZE CUPS AND THIS ONE HAS THEM. STRONG TO MILD. NO ONE CAN COMPLAIN. TO EACH HIS OWN.

Horrible Brewer

This is the second brewer I have owned and will probably be the last. The first one which was a limited edition B60 brewer was great we just wanted to upgrade to a quieter one. I just called to get me second replacement within 6 months yes 3 brewers in six months. The problems start when it begins short cupping or not brewing at all. And it goes downhill from there I would not buy this one at ALL....
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Poor Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
