BREWER IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE

We purchased this brewer in Dec. 2011 and have had no less than 4 replacement units. Each one stops working after a couple weeks and it is frustrating. A call to corporate office didnt solve the problem. I am getting my 5th unit lets see what happens...I'll keep you updated.
Cons: Continual breakage, Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brews great coffee when its working

I have owned 3 of these brewers...2 stopped working after 13 months and 1 stopped working after 4 months. When they are working, they are the best...unfortunately the quality is not what you would expect for something in this price range. Expect to replace it at least every year if not sooner. Customer service is good about sending a replacement, but then you have to send parts back to them and pay for shipping and spend your time doing it. Its time for Keurig to start producing a better quality brewer than last a little longer than a few months.
Pros: Fast, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Quality, Pricey / Poor Value, Durable

Used everyday to make my coffee. Used to stop and purchase coffee at drive throughs but now, I make my own. Even purchased a single cup maker for son in college and suggested a maker like mine for two friends who love it too. Good job Keurig! Had a slight problem with my maker and they sent me a new one that started my warranty over again. Can't beat the customer service.

Makes good coffee... when it works.

We purchased our Keurig Platinum approximately 4 years ago and we love the way our coffee tastes. That being said... It has broken down EVERY YEAR since we got it. It's wonderful that Keurig is willing to replace it for free every year but really... Do you not realize that there is a problem? The first time was my fault. I didn't realize that you were supposed to descale it regardless of whether or not the indicator light was on. This will be our 4th replacement that I called for today and they refuse to upgrade me even though I've agreed to pay the difference. As usual, when someone is the only game in town, they couldn't care less about customer satisfaction.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile

Great product but only lasted 16 months

GREAT machine - love it. Changed our lives (per se) in the culinary beverage kitchen. Great tasting black tea for iced teas and all coffees and hot chocolates. We used it daily 6x a day and it only lasted 16 months. Probably closer to 15 months. The KCups are expensive unless you get them at [@] - 80 cups for [$]. Great deal for coffee but for Black Tea - best I can find is 18 cups for [$]. So - when and if I'm on a budget, I have to make sun tea. Love this machine but if you're having to be economical and be on a budget, the price of the Kcups might have to be cut out.
Pros: No mess clean up, Fast and Easy, Visually appealing, Quiet
Cons: Didn't last long

Love how fast this is, how easy it is to fill and the 5 cup sizes (although the 6 & 8oz would be enough for us). Also have the Mr. Coffee Keurig brewer. Leaving it at our lake house. Liked it but LOVE this one!

BUT 5 STARS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We have purchased 3 of the Platinum Keurigs for various locations and another one for our daughter as a Chritmas gift. So, 4 in total. While we absolutely love the idea of this product, we have had the same misfortune as many other reviewers with 1 of ours breaking down in just over a year. Although this product needs much improvement on durability, I must say that customer service has been excellent in replacing one of our three coffee makers, which just stopped brewing, as well as our daughters, which did the same thing. They were extremely accomodating and very quick to respond with a new one for free. They replaced my daughter's too. 2 Stars for the product because it lacks durability and 5 stars for customer service. If they can correct the break downs, they will have a great product! As you know most coffee makers last for 10 or more years at a much lower price point. Besides, you have to be making a lot of money on the K-cups alone!! But thank you for the new one at no charge.

Cons: Not durable

Always in Prime Mode

I love the concept and the coffee is good. However, this is my second brewer that after three months, has to be cleaned out after every cup because it goes into the "Prime" mode. I use their recommended filter and use only bottled water. If you have to remove the tank and rince it out after every use, I might as well go back to Mr. Coffee!

Cons: Constant Prime Alert
