The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Platinum stopped working after three day

I purchased after reading previous negative review comments hoping Company fixed problem. We have a more basic model with a noisy pump that has worked for years without problem. I used this platinum for three days and it stopped working. Seems like pump continues to operate but system shuts off within three minutes without any coffee. Company needs to improve quality control and fix this repetitive problem ASAP. I love the coffee etc. I would not recommend this until Company fixes problem.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Easy to use, Stylish

There is a problem with these units

There is a problem with these units my stopped working after about 11 months it was cleaned every month. Then it started spitting out HOT WATER. It was replaced but the second one stopped pumping water after 2 weeks of use. Sometimes it pumps water from the water holder brews one cup and the will not pump water and shuts off. Now I was sent a 3rd unit. The service people said they found the problem They said this the first time!! You pay 200 dollars and you get these problems. the company doesn't even offer to give you free coffee for your problems. If the 3rd one doesn't work I will contact my lawyer enough is enough. The problem is in the pump most likely a cheap pump or magnet problem or not being electrically used right. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNIT OR ANY OTHER

Cons: Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN

Great Idea Bad Quality Machine

This is my second machine, the first one lasted 6 weeks and this one lasted 4 weeks. Machine brews one cup and shuts off. You have to unplug the machine for 5 + minutes before it will work again. I discovered the single cup machines in Europe and loved the idea. Unfortunately this is a very dissappointing product that works great at first and breaksdown quickly. If you buy the machine do not buy a bunch of "K" cups or you will be left with a machine that does not work and "K" cups with no other use.
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Does Not Last, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Quality The Machine dont brew Waste a lot of kcups. This is my second machine i got the first and it last me a month this the second unit 30 days now the same problems call custumer services and i was on hold for about 1 hour. not happy at all!!!!!

Don't buy this machine

This machine is buggy. Kept turning off by itself. Started having trouble after a month. Keurig Customer was terrible. They first had us clean the nozzle, when that didn't work, they had us de-scale (didn't make sense after a month and we use bottled water in it). I wouldn't buy another and I am selling my Green Mountain stock after the experiece.

Shutting off after one cup

i've been wanting a Keurig for some time now and i finally got one as a gift for Christmas and i love it. only problem is, i haven't even had it for 3 months yet and it's starting to shut off after one cup of coffee. it's set on the automatic shut off, but that's after 30 minutes of no activity. i've written to keurig, but have not had any response from anyone. if anyone else has had this problem, what have you done to rectify the situation. i love my machine, but this is getting to be a bit tedious and frustrating.
