DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL

We had the base model Keurig for a couple of years and decided to up grade our model to the platinum model. We have had to call to get a new brewer 3 times and the same problem with each brewer. Makes a couple cups and then stops filling the cups properly. There is clearly something wrong with the manufacturing of this brewer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my brewer....but...

I had my first brewer for a year, and although it was loud it was definately love at first cup. Then, my husband and I got an email from QVC about the Platinum and fell in love with the cinnamon colored one. He ended up buying me the Platinum as a surprise Christmas present. I love the choice of cup sizes and how much noise it doesn't make. Well now, like others, it has stopped pumping water and turns its self off. I will be calling and hopefully getting a replacement because I really do love it. AND even though they are having such a problem with this batch (which I am sure is because they got a bad batch of circuit boards or something for them) I would still recommend the machine to friends. It's not ususual for bad batches of items to happen once in a while so I am looking at it as just "one of those things"....hopefully though they will make it right for me, but I will be sad if they can't send me a cinnamon colored one, because I really do love it ;)
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use

very good coffee machine

i bought mine in october,and loved it,till 2 weeks ago had problems.it will not brew,no coffee coming out, called customer services and did what they told me to do,and did not have problems after,hopefully it will work well coz i really love this machine.
Pros: Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Great coffee maker...a friend got one for Christmas and swore by it. She made me a cup of coffee and I was sold. It's great. So quick for when you're running out the door and it makes excellent coffee. Great assortment!

Very, Very Poor Quality

I have had a B60 for two years and never had a problem, however, it was just a little loud. This christmas I decided to update my old B60 to the improved and stylish B70. What a mistake!! I have had two of these brewers now, and waiting on a third replacement Breville unit ($80 upgrade). This unit has major issues that need resolved immediately. The pump seems to lose prime, and fails to pump the water from the reservoir. When this happens your machine automatically turns off. Then once it starts to pump the water on the next startup, your brewed coffee will either be larger or smaller than the cup size selected.Keurig has a great product when it works. They need to cancel all production on the quiet pump models, and figure out what is going on. This year Keurig had enormous sales, nearly depleting inventory. Keurig has had some many problems with the B70, they have deleted all inventory trying to replace all the failed units.I would recommend the concept of Keurig and K-cups to friends, however, not the B70 model.

Cons: Fragile, Poor Engineering Design, Poor Quality

The Best Coffee Machine

My kids use this machine more than i do. They say its great for hot chocolate because it comes out tasting perfect. I on the other hand like being able to make any size i desire or just get a cup of hot water to mix my baby daughter's formula. When I use the extra bold pods i can just adjust the cup size if i think it is too strong. I am now about to learn how to make iced beverages, i knew the option was there but never needed it. Its easy to handle and clean. I have tried all the machines and this is the best. I love this machine.

Second machine stops working three days

Company needs to state they have a problem and repair it ASAP. Model is ideal but unit shuts off after making an Expresso sized cup. This machine is only three days old and is the second one to become defective within the past two weeks for me. I imagine this is why the Platinum model is off the list but Company can do better by acknowledging issue and sharing with us their plan to remedy and when because I want two more. I will be delighted to refer once we know the problem is solved. I am sure Customer Service is working overtime currently.

Cons: MAJOR COMPANY DEFECT

Not Very Good

Well, I don't like the Platinum because it sometimes shuts off automatically and we didn't have the auto-off feature on! We switched back to our old brewer (Hamilton Beach) until we buy an Elite or Special Edition. It will be for home use only. Rating: 0.1 (Keurig's min. is 1.0) We kept the Platinum K-Cup holder as an extra. A relative in my family has the Elite and likes it. We used our Platinum for coffee and only coffee.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Turns Off Sometimes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
