One year warranty not enough!

Worked great for just over a year. Made 4 - 6 cups during the week in my home office. Rarely on weekends. Used filtered water to remove minerals (2 stage under sink filter system) Pump quit shortly after a year and of course was no longer under warranty...
Pros: Easy to use, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5, is I can see a little difficulty cleaning where the K cup goes. I was expecting a 12 oz cup and not a 11.5 or whatever it was. I use the second biggest setting for a coffee mug. I like how I can brew hot or cold tea in a minute. I am a picky coffee drinker, so having a variety box helped me choose what I liked. I wish I had more variety packs! LOL
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Fast, Quiet, Fun, Great tasting coffee, Easy to use
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

Great machine, short lifespan

I loved, loved, loved my machine until it broke. It lasted less then 2 years and I just can't see myself spending another [$] on a new brewer and when I said that I was told I could downgrade my brewer. Yeah, thanks. I purchased the keurig filters and descaled often. The only thing I did wrong was not use a paper-clip to clean the needle.I think I will have to try something else at this point.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Short lifespan, Pricey / Poor Value

2 failed brewers in 18 months

Our first platinum brewer lasted just under 6 months and was replaced under warranty by Keurig. The replacement lasted 12 months and 10 days... yes, it died ten days after the warranty expired. - As others have pointed out, the pump gives out and descaling and cleaning the needles only helps a little. We descaled about once every two months as we noticed performance lacking. The descale indicator typically didn't display until we were already in the process of descaling... in other words, no warning. We always ran filtered water through the brewer. - As of yesterday, the brewer would brew a partial cup and then stop working. The only way to restart the brewing process was to unplug the unit to reset it. - At this price I could buy and dispose of 7 Mr. Coffee brewers and likely get more than 18 months out of them.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Not durable, Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN

30 Day Warranty---For a Reason!!

I LOVED everything about my Keurig B70. I encounted problems after using my Keurig after just a few months. After contacting Keurig, they offered to replace B70, by selling me a new one at 50% Off. NO THANKS. Returned to [@] for 100% REFUND!!!

Cons: Poor Quality, One Machine Mutli-problem, 30 Day Warranty, Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value, Slowly QUITS Working

machine does not last after 2 yrs

The machine works great but need to "deep" clean every 3 months. I clean with vinegar and baking soda. If don't clean, even if I put the largest size (12 oz), it would come out less than 8 oz. I have to always keep the tank in full in order to get that less than 8 oz, otherwise, I don't even have that size come out. If I put the smaller size cup, nothing come out. It took the machine longer time to generate coffee.
Pros: Coffee tastes good, Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Cup size not as noted, HARD TO CLEAN

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Nice machine but it failed

Make sure you clean it with vinegar regularly hopefully the machine will last. Poor design for repairing and once it fails they want to sell you another one at a discounted price. All I want is machine that will last more than 1 year and 4 months.
