Great coffee ; bad machine

First new machine lasted about 8 months despite diligent cleaning and descaling. Water simply would not go into cup. Spent about one hour with customer service trying to fix the darn thing. They are very nice but not the way I wanted to spend an hour--very frustrating. Eventually, they sent a new machine free of charge as it was still under warranty. That one lasted about six months. After an hour with customer service again, they sent a new one. I'm thinking this isn't a fluke; now we're forming a pattern! Well, last night it went again after about 16 months. Same problem, I/2 oz. water comes out into cup. If I did this (shut machine off by unplugging and then plugging in and turning machine on) 16 times, I would be able to get a full cup of coffee!! Customer service is sending a new one at a $70 discount. Call me crazy for buying another one but I' addicted to a great-tasting cup of coffee and it really is!
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Multiple Settings
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't beat a Keurig!

This will be my second Keurig product- through my OWN fault. I have used "well" water for 3 1/2 years and have not de-scaled the product. Obviously, I did not follow the manufacturer's recommendations. With the new one, however, I will use distilled water and de-scale on a regular basis. I could not ask for a better product- and, yes, I use it EVERY day- several times a day.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Durable

stand up for keurig

I have used my brewer every day all day and all most all night long (insomnia) I have owned it for 7 years. If you take care of it and run a clean water cup through here and there and clean the needles every now and then the brewer will last. Mine is just now starting to have problems. Vices trying to fix I am taking the very nice offer and getting the new one one. An Offer like that is a huge savings. Also one thing you must look for is the coffee brands that leak grinds and there are a few out there, if it is your fav then every time you brew wipe off the needles or your brewer wont last and its kinda your fault for not maintaining your applaince. I just stopping using that coffee as there are too many other coffees to choose from. Just my thoughts and opions ...everyone has them...BTW Keurig has trouble shooting videos on site and customer service is great talking you through some of them.

Cons: Noisy, HARD TO CLEAN

Noisy, lasts less than a year, No More

We only make two cups a day, and this machine doesn't last over 12 months. We even bought a second one... and it had the same problems as the first. Requires vinegar cleaning every 4 weeks, smells up the entire house and has to be rinsed for 10 minutes afterward. Disappointing Piece of GARBAGE (since they won't let me label it for what it is).
Pros: Multiple Settings, Waste Of Money
Cons: Complicated, HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value, Known Problems Poor Qual, Fragile, Noisy

I would have appreciated a better instruction booklet. I still don't know how to turn off the Automatic start up. I'll contact Keurig and hopefully they'll inform me. I really enjoy the convenience of having a good one cup coffee maker.

Can't drain the internal water

Can not drain the internal water. Called and was told no way to do this (K75)and don't leave it in freezing temps. We have to leave it in our RV in New Hampshire for 6 mos. It will freeze so don't know what will happen when we return. Most all other models allow you to drain the internal water.
Cons: Can't Drain Internal Wate

Different uses

We use our Keurig for several uses besides coffee. We have two kids and mornings are hectic so it is very convenient to make coffee as well as quick grits, and oatmeal before we rush out the door.
Pros: Grits Oatmeal Noodles, Stylish, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
