Prime?

Why does my unit always say prime? I have had this about 2 weeks and unit stopped working and displays prime on screen. Very disappointed! Unit will be returned....it is a shame that this high $ unit can't reliably brew a cup of coffee.

This is my first Keurig and the one I measure all other against. I love the cup settings and the ease of programing.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Durable

Great coffee when it works

Will it last a year? I don't think so. Descaled twice in two months and it still fails to brew at least 50% of the time. And it takes forever to get that vinegar taste out of the water. So disappointing to miss that morning cup of coffee or to have to stop at Dunkin for coffee. For the money we paid, this machine should last several years. Maybe it's time to go back to our Bunn coffeemaker (boo hoo!)
Pros: Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Fragile, Often doesn't work, HARD TO CLEAN

I received my first Platinum Keurig for Christmas in 2009 and loved it. I had been throwing so much coffee away making it home and it was getting costly buying it everyday. After 1 year, I wasn't getting full cups when brewing. Next thing it just stopped. Nothing would happen. Called customer service and they walked me through the troubleshooting process and we weren't able to get it to start. Customer service is wonderful, even though I was 2 months out of warranty, they replaced my machine. Now it is one year later and de ja vu...customer service is sending me a replacement machine. I hope that 3 times the charm. Should a year go by and we have this scenario again, I expect that they will be shipping me another machine!!! A little frustrating that this may be a yearly thing, but Keurig's customer service is tops. If you can handle the possibility of getting a replacement yearly, then I definitely recommend this machine.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Convenient, Fast
Cons: Short lifespan

Great Brewer

I have really enjoy brewing with my keurig. The coffee choices are wonderful and my friends that do not own a Keurig actually do go out and purchase one after trying mine. I recently had a problem with my brewer and after calling the service department I was truly impressed with the quick and courteous response from the operator. They were able to resolve the issue immediately.

I would expected better for the price

I always used distiled water and before a year it broke even if i clean it with vinegar. Now its seem that the pump is broken :-(

Very poor quality

This is the second Keurig we have owned (we actually gave the first one away when we purchased this model) . . . I must say we are very disappointed in this model. From the beginning it hesitated during the brew cycle, sometimes never completing the cycle. It was noisy and slow to warm up. Even after regular cleanings with vinegar, it made horrible screeching noises, then quit working altogether. It said descale on the monitor, but would not work at all to get the vinegar solution through the machine - so into the trash it goes. Bottom line - our first Keurig brewer was simple and worked great . . . this model was a piece of junk.
Cons: Quit working, Stopped brewing mid cup, Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good tasting Coffee

I loved my brewer and still do it was a gift 2010. I had to prime it a lot because according to Keurig I have hard water. It just recently stopped brewing this month after I just primed it, it only worked for 1 cup after that and then when I tried to brew a second cup and no water came out. I was so disappointed because this machine is around $200 I thought it should last longer. Keurig customer service is pleasant to deal with and they walked me through a troubleshooting process which didn't get the unit working so they suggest I just go buy another one. Disappointed that it only last a little over one year, I wanted to think about purchasing a new one, as I didn't think the cost would be worth it but after two weeks of bad tasting coffee I went and bought a different model that I hope will last a bit longer than a year. I recommended Keurig machine for those who love good tasting coffee however from what I read here in the reviews there must be a problem keeping the machines running past a year. If Keurig has improved the design to last longer than a year, I will up the star rating.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Machine doesn't last long
