I love how quick it brews my hot coffee, and provides the flexibility for other hot beverages, such as a cup of soup, tea or hot chocolate. Doesn't take much counter space. Its modern in design, the K-Kups are reasonably priced and offer a large variety. Unfortunately, after two months my Keurig stopped brewing the 12oz size, it would only pump up 6ozs at the 12 oz setting and stop, leaving just a half cup of a 12oz coffee. I don't want to return it for fear I will not get my machine back. Keurig should replace the exact machine and not substitute - disappointed with this approach, not good customer service.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Durable, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Complicated

Hitting it really helps

It started making 1/2 cups and then turning itself off without making a cup. Apparently that is a common failure when the pump gets air in it. After searching the internet, a reviewer said to whack it when pumping to get water to the pump and start it filling properly. That Works! I would rather do that than buy a new one or try to find the paperwork to get Keurig to fix it. Works great when it works.

Love waking up to my Keurig!!

I am an avid coffee drinker and I used to visit Starbucks every morning. Needless to say that was becoming very expensive ($300+ a month). So my parents introduced me to their Keurig machine and I have been in love ever since, it brews fresh delicious coffee that tastes as if brewed at the coffee shop. The Keurig store offers many coffee varieties and they also offer a single "My K-cup" which allows you to brew whatever coffee you desire. All in all this machine is by far the BEST!!! Get one...I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

Great concept, but poor reliability.

Awaiting replacement brewer # 5. Last replacement from Keurig was put into service in March 2011 and lasted 10 months. It seems to be a recurrent problem with the brewer. When it works, it makes a great cup of coffee. As long as Keurig stands behind its products, I'll continue to use them. All routine maintenance is done exceeding manufacturers recommendations and only filtered water is used. Descaling is done every eight weeks and unit is thoroughly rinsed. Just wish Keurig would rectify the problem, since it has been identified. It would sure save the consumer a great deal of aggravation and save Keurig having to replace the defective units. I wonder if Keurig will stand behind its product if the replacement lasts for more than a year? Time will tell - but their track record so far has been that the brewer lasts less than a year.

Cons: Reliable to a Point

I drink about 1-3 cups of coffee a day. I enjoy both K-cups and using the My K-cup. This is the best coffee and with the multiple cup function you can brew more coffee with a stronger coffee and it won't be so bitter. The ease of use is amazing. My 20 month old daughter has helped me brew a cup of coffee. The only thing is I am going on my 3rd brewer in just over a year. The first two lasted about a year. It pumps the water out of the reservoir but doesn't go through the k-cup. This will be the 2nd brewer that Keurig is replacing for me. Although the product is not as good as I would like it, Keurig does have wonderful customer service. As long as their CS works for me I will continue to use this product! As for those that are saying Keurig hasn't contacted them back or doesn't help them, I do not believe that you tried! They have been nothing but great to myself and others I know who have had issues.

I use my machine everyday at least once if not more! Usually every morning and definitely every evening for my Sleepytime Tea. I could not wait to get a Keurig after having used one at work, I wouldn't trade it for any other machine! I haven't been let down yet and it hasn't made a less than stellar cup of coffee or tea! It is stylish and sleek, I have the platinum color and it looks great with my stainless steel appliances! Thanks and job well done to the maker's of Keurig!

I had heard of K-cups before and seen Keurig machines in the past for many years and thought nothing of them. Whoopty doo, so what a coffee maker and worse it uses proprietary costly cups, just what I need, consumables and besides I don't care as much about coffee as tea. Until...I visited my parents out of town and was introduced to their machine one morning, and was just amazed at how quick, mess-free, and also tasty the variety of coffee they had. That just about did it for me and just had to have one. And ironically because we don't consume much coffee at home all the better. Coffee was going stale, we never felt it was worth the effort of brewing a pot we can't finish, I know pretty weak right? Sure enough, this last Christmas my parents gave us this ultimate gift and now my wife even loves it, who never drank coffee before. It was the best gift ever and is now our favorite thing in the kitchen! We really dig trying the flavored variety boxes if Keurig can get more all the better. How can a coffee machine be such a blast? Enjoy!

Love it, but has a pump problem

I love my Brewer, but this is my 3rd one in a year. Obviously a pump problem, as that has been the problem both times. Got friends one, and they had the same problem. Did everything I was supposed to. On a positive note, Keurig has been absolutely AMAZING. Have sent me out 2 new ones and received them very quickly. This one is a newer model, so I'm hoping the problem is fixed. Will continue to buy them as they are great machines.
