Great but unreliable

I have had two of these units. The first had a defective pump which Keurig replaced and now the replacement will not move the water through the heating element. Not sure if it is the pump again or not, but I am very disappointed. We actually have a water distiller in the house (came with it when we bought the house) so I know it is not a water hardness issue.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Platinum Brewer has durability problem

I purchased the Platinum brewer December '09. As of May '10 it died. It will not pump from the water container into the brewer. I have descaled it as the directions instruct and it did no good. [...] WOW! Keurig you need to get a new quality control division. Most of the reviews have the same issue(pump failure). I had a Senseo brewer before this Keurig and the Senseo is 5 years old and still working just like it did the day I purchased it. I switched to Keurig because of the greater coffee selection, but now I am thinking I made an expensive mistake. I can not recommend the Keurig at this point.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Great coffee flavor, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Not durable, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This brewer is great. I ran into the pump problem that a few Platinums had. Once the problem was corrected/reengineered, [...] The new units work perfectly.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Stylish

Bought one for a Christmas Gift. It worked 3 weeks and started to shut off and/ pour less than full cup. Would turn off to "reset". It started happening more and more. Reason we got was for under 1 minute cup, not a 5 minute/3 turn off cup of coffee. Call Keurig, said they never heard of this issue. Sent a replacement out [...] This machine is going on 7 months and only had the issue once during the whole time. Woman I worked with had same issue and second also worked much better than first.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use

Now that summer is here, I am looking forward to trying out the ice tea feature. The cons for me would be going through the large selection of K-cups to narrow it down to the ones I like best. But I like the fact that there is so many to choose from.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

The first one lasted what seems to be an amazing 11 months, Keurig replaced it with no problems. Now after less than six months my replacement is dying. I clean it regularly, use filtered water and it either doesn't pump or only does 1/2 cup. Not very reliable for a [$] coffee pot. Black and Decker $10 pots last for years.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my 7th machine. Yes you read that right 7!!!!!!!!! Everytime we get one it lasts just a couple of months and then stops. I have descaled it. Nothing works. It is junk. I am going to a different brand that still takes the kcups. Maybe that one will work longer that 2 or 3 months and brew me a full cup of coffee. What a waste of money. We started with the special edition and went through 4 of those. Then we switched to the platinum. It did the same thing. Don't purchase this garbage.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile, Not a good life span

this machine is wonderful. Works well whisper quiet , great interface( not too complicated but with enough options) Brews delicious coffee..... What more could you want.....
