Outstanding Brewer

This is a great coffee maker!. I owned the machine for about six months when it just shut itself down. I called customer service who talked me through cleaning the three ports on the top needle...worked great. Two weeks before the expiration of the warranty the pump apparently quit working. I called again and explained the problem and they sent me a brand new machine. Customer service was the best both times!. On registering the new machine I received an e-mail offering two free boxes of coffee with the purchase of two more. Just a suggestion to owners...use bottled water and descale every three months. Also take the k-cup out of the brewer as soon as it is finished. I am totally happy with the coffee brewer!

I bought the Platinum floor model for [$] and haven't had a problem with it for 5 years. I used tap water and never descaled it at all. I don't recommend that, but I am only now (5 years later) having problems. The water won't heat. Definitely time for a new one. I called customer service and they will send me one immediately with a 35% discount and free shipping. Oh, and we've brought this coffee maker on every vacation for years. It is heavy, but it was definitely not fragile. The only bad part is that we can't go back to regular coffee. Keurig is so good that anything else tastes like sewer water. lol!
Pros: Durable, Easy to use, Fast, Reliable

Great while it works

Our first Keuring Premium coffee maker lasted only 1.5 years. Now we are on our second Keurig Premium coffee maker and it's only been 5 months and we are starting to have problems. Specifically, the pump isn't drawing the water like it used to. We've cleaned the machine with vinegar as is suggested. Many have the same complaint about durability, so these problems are not isolated. I guess that's just what you have to expect going into it. Frankly, I'm considering bagging the whole Keurig thing. The machines don't last and the coffee is expensive. Keurig better get smart about their machines - build them better or else your customers will leave you.

Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN, Not durable

Renewed hope in customer service

When my hope was almost completely lost with customer service, Keurig gave me a renewed sense of customer worth. Let me explain, I received my Platinum Brewing System as a Christmas gift last year. Right off, I loved this thing. Recently, I have been having brewing issues that I could not resolve with the recommended cleaning procedures. Unfortunatly, my Keurig was not performing at optimal standards. When I contacted Keurig customer service, they helped me troubleshoot my device over the phone. After many failed attempts to recover my device, the nice lady said she would ship me a replacement free of charge, without having to box up the old one for return. Long story short, I just had my first cup of coffee from my replacement Keurig and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend a Keurig for both excellent coffee and customer service. P.S. Keurig, could you please give some customer service pointers to the cell phone industry?

Absolutely Love This Coffee Machine

I use this coffee maker all day long. It makes great coffee if you find the correct coffee selection for each different coffee you use. That I believe is the hardest part, finding the correct size setting. Sometimes you will waste a cup either being set to weak or to strong and bitter but once you find the right setting the coffee is very very good. I have found myself trying many different flavors and types of coffee and drinking coffee all day now instead of just in the mornings. I hate wasting coffee and me being the only one that would drink it all day ment I would end up wasting several cups out of every pot I made. Now anytime of the day pop in whatever flavor or style you feel like and boom a fresh hot cup!
Pros: Fast, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings

Love Love Love This Machine!

We've had the Platinum Brewer for over a year with no problems and we love it. We initially thought we would use it once in a while and still mainly use our drip pot.....but that was not to be as we were totally spoiled with the ease and quickness as well as always getting a fresh cup of coffee from this brewer. We use this machine multiple times throughout the day, every day, and can't live without it.

Best Coffee Ever

I love my Keurig Platinum Coffee Brewing System. I am home all the time and I constantly have a cup to sip on through the day. If it gets cold before I drink it all, I put it in the microwave a few seconds. I haven't had it long enough to know if it is durable or not. It brews a cup in less than a minute if you keep it on and if it has been off, it takes about 2 minutes for it to be ready to brew. I can't say enough good things about it. I love the variety of K-cups offered also. It will take me awhile to try them all. The K-cups are priced well too. They cost less than the grocer with your 10% discount and have more varietys. Thanks Keurig for bringing us this great coffee brewer. All coffee lovers need one. It's a great Christmas idea!!!!

Good but inconsistent...

Convenient, but getting inconsistent fills per coffee. Also, the drip tray (platinum model) wears quickly and doesn't ever look clean after washing. The metallic tray should just be plastic. Improve the quality and consistency and this would be a great product.
