Love My Coffee, Love the Company

I use my Keurig everyday, several times a day. I only put purified/filtered water in and decalcify when needed. I am a huge fan of the K-cups too. So, when my faithful Keuring took a turn for the worse after 10 months of hard labor I was horrified. But reassured by the warranty statement, and crossing my fingers that this company would stand by it's product like other high-end kitchenware companies, I made the call to customer service. Sure enough, they do. Jennifer was on the phone to walk me through a few basic checking points and then the next thing I know she's telling me that the company will send me a new Keurig FREE because mine no longer works. How easy was that? I will continue to spend my money here because they treat customers right. That's why I have Keurig on my holiday shopping list as gifts for friends and family. Thanks, Keurig!

Good about 1 year before problems start

With heavy use, avg 6 large qcups daily, the de scale process is an ongoing requirement and eventually not clear the scale. After a short time, 6 to 8 months, it will affect the quantity of water brewed that affects the quality. I am on my third one that i just put in the trash when the descale process did not work after four separate attempts. Each attempt takes approx 4 plus hours. First one threw away. Second one called in under warranty and they replaced for free. Recent one, put in trash due to frustration. Wife wants me to buy another for convenience. You need to have discretionary funds to support this habit.
Pros: Easy to use, No Mess, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile

Perfect for avid gourmet coffee drinkers

This is our 3rd Keurig Brewer in 5 years. That may sound scary but let me state that there was nothing mechanically wrong with the other two brewers. We got the second one (B77) because the first machine (B60) was too loud. (old technology Keurig has since remedied that issue). We bought our latest machine (B70) for the increased water capacity. We, my wife and I are avid coffee drinkers. Before the Keurig machines we would have a "Pot" on all day. We would waste a lot of coffee. The Keurig line has simplified the whole process for us. No waste, and no coffee pot breaking every six months or so. We love our Keurig Brewers. Although I wish the price of the K-Cups would go down. They have gotten a little pricey in recent months.
Pros: Stylish, Durable, Fast, Excellent flavor choices, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: A Little Pricey

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Mediocre Model

Initially, my brewer worked great. It was actually an upgrade from their base model. I had that one for 4 months before getting this as a birthday present. No problems there. This one went 3 months before problems set in. Not brewing the selected size, not brewing at all - all despite following manufacturer's recommendations for using filtered water and cleaning. I must give an A to customer service, though. All three times I called, they were very helpful. The last time I called, the rep skipped over asking me what I'd done and went right to getting me set up with a new one. When they work, the brewers are great. But, when you've given up a regular coffeemaker for a Keurig - a significant investment, it can be more than disappointing.
Pros: Easy to use, Convenient, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Multiple Settings
Cons: Not durable, Noisy, Temperamental

I just sent off for my 4th unit since December 09. This one lasted nearly a year, but is now doing the same thing as the previous 3 units. It draws water, and then just sits there and doesn't give me a cup of coffee.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Only works when it wants

Love Love Love this machine. I have had it for approximately 7 Months. Use it from sporadically to every day to a house full of people. It has performed beautifully. I make all types of regular and iced coffee. I have used filtered water from my fridge from the start and keep it clean...(I run a cup of water through before use and again when myself or everyone else is done). Have not had the first problem. I had the elite before this one and didnt have problems with it either I sold to a co-worker and it is still going strong. You cant go wrong w/the Keurig brand machines and cant beat the coffee.

Unhappy with the performance !

This is the 3rd platinum I have owned. I maintain the machine. Use distilled water for almost every up and clean it and I am still experiencing problems. I love k-cups but I wont buy a Keurig brewer to brew my coffee again :-(

2nd Brewer now going bad

First unit failed after only 6 months due to pump failure. Customer service quickly replaced the unit but after only two weeks I'm now getting the "prime" error after every other cup. The only way to clear the error and get the machine to work again is to unplug and the plug in again. Very irritating as it loses all the custom settings each time. It's only a matter of time before it goes out completely. I should call customer service now, but I figure I will use this one until it fails for good simply because I don't believe the next one will be any better. It's a real shame as I paid way too much money for such a poor quality unit. If they could get the quality problems fixed this would be a great coffee maker, as I truly love everything else about it.

Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile
