Love this brewer but lately have issues

I bought my first in Nov 2010 and loved it. I followed all user manual instructions and cleaning without fail but in July 2011 it started not brewing at all or just a few drips at a time. I called customer service and they walked me through cleaning the top pins (which are not mentioned in the manual). It worked fine for another week and stopped. I called customer service again and they sent a new brewer. The second brewer worked fine until 2 weeks ago, when it started to prime all the time and in order to brewer a cup I had to lift the resevoir off the unit, wait a few seconds, replace and then it would brew. I called customer service again and they walked me through another cleaning process (which again was not in the user manual). Of course it brewed while I was on the phone with them and as soon as I hung up - it failed to brew. I called them right back and they sent out another brewer which I received last week and so far has been working fine. I love this machine when it works, but if this 3rd machine fails I'm not sure I will continue to use. I must say that customer service has been nothing but wonderful!!!
Pros: Fast, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Malfunctions at times

If I wasn't so hooked on this machine...

Received my first Platinum as a gift. It was love at first site! Perfect coffee in an instant. I loved not having to clean out a coffee pot everyday and night. 6 months goes by and I'm descaling constantly in order to get it to brew even partial cups. Customer service was great, they shipped me a new one for free. It's been 8 months and the same thing is happening all over again. Pump doesn't work, partial cups when it does, I descale, use paperclips to clean out needles, get it to work for about a week or so, then it stops. So now I have a personal size Keurig as a back up. I called customer service again and they are shipping me a new one AGAIN! Great customer service, but I'd rather have a product that works longer than 6 months. If I wasn't so hooked on instantaneous coffee and it tasting so good, I would try another product. This system is too expensive for the trouble it causes. It just isn't dependable. Let's see how the 3rd one survives. And by the way, there is only 2 adults in my household using the brewer about twice a day.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Not dependable

I received the Platinum model and it never worked right. It would always stop pumping the water and wouldn't clean out with the shot of air at the end. I did everything and eventually, after always trying to fix it, I replaced it with an Elite model. Others have had this cheaper model and never had trouble with it so I am hoping the same with this one. It is disappointing that the more expensive model doesn't seem to work as well as the less expensive ones. We have the mini at work and it works great. It makes a great cup of coffee and I am disappointed that I had to replace the brewing system after only 1 and a half years.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value

Don't give up your drip brewer

Ok...I'll be receiving my 4th brewer within 2.5 years. I thought I'd give it up after the 3rd. The truth is that I am addicted to the convenience of this product...when it works. Customer service has always replaced my faulty brewers, since none has lasted more than 10 months. I've become an expert at troubleshooting and now know when one is about to bite the dust. I just make sure my old $25 Mr. Coffee drip brewer is always on hand for back up.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Lacks durability, HARD TO CLEAN

Water Pump and Brain Problems

What I like is the fast and easy daily no prep and clean up to make a good cup of coffee, when the machine works. I have had the same troubles as other reviewers with the pump and brain of my first machine. Started erratically about 4 months after I got it, so I quit using the timer settings and just turned it on and off manually. Then the whole thing went kaputzy crazy. I have to get up at 4AM and dont feel much like dealing with attitudes at that time of day, especially before I have had my coffee! Did the troubleshooting thing and descaled and so on and so forth. Bottom line, the brain malfunctioned and the pump sucked, so they did send me a new machine. (Also, I babied it and only gave it pure water made for babies. My daughter's machine - she abuses and it has it's problems but still works better than mine did.) I have coffee made easy again, but for how long? I dont know that I whole heartedly recommend it - maybe a different brand sold on their website?
Pros: Fast, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

Will be on my first replacement

I had my first machine for about 6 months when it started making half cups. After following the directions to descale all seemed well for a short time and I descaled approximately 4 additional times but unfortunately that did not help. It just gave out. I am amazed that the office I work in has had a commercial model for a least two years that is absolutely filthy and it is always working perfectly. The folks in customer service were most nice and and since they noticed I have made numerous calls they offered a replacement. Why I had to be at my coffee maker when making a call I do not know. They already have the serial number when I registered it. We will see how long this replacement works when I receive it. I hope longer. I do enjoy the machine.

Keeps breaking

Unfortunately, I am on my 2nd machine and this one has broken again. Starts short cupping, then stops priming. I descale religiously, tried the paper clip thingy,only use filtered water, even changed the K Cup holder to no avail. Keurig replaced the original with this one, and I am hoping they will do so again, however, I'm out [...] all those wasted K Cups. I am very disappointed because the coffee is like no other.
Cons: Fragile

Worst Coffee Maker ever

I owned this coffee maker a little over a year, and cleaned regularly. Now it has completely stopped working. Its already out of warranty. I do not recommend this coffee maker, for [$] it should last a long time.
