Makes 1 cup then wants you to add water. But it's already full. Called cust service 5 times. Very friendly but useless. Wish I had never bought this!!!

This is our fourth Keurig. Like most of the other posters our previous brewers failed after about a year. For the amount of money we have paid for them, it is a more than a little disappointing. Customer service have been very good trying to help us but our frustration is with the machine. We descale every two weeks after being told that it was not working because of our water. Sorry, that didn't help. Brewer #4 just died after 14 months. I am so leery about purchasing yet another one but enjoy the actual coffee.......
Pros: Stylish, Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

Just ordered our 4th warranty replacemen

We do love our brewer when it works. Just wish they built these things to last. I am currently awaiting the arrival of our FOURTH brewer. We paid for the first one but the last three have all been free warranty replacement brewers since they never last more than the 1 year warranty period. We use distilled water only & I descaled every 3-4 months since we got this last brewer ten months ago. Now 3 weeks after I last descaled, it stopped working completely. I am very thankful that Keurig stands behind their one year warranty. My fear is that the next brewer will quit just after the 1 year warranty is up.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile

After 7 months had to replace. Store indicated common problem. New one extra water in Kcup holder and coffee grounds consistently in holder. Running water cycles 2 times before brewing. Trying ONE more. I have Platnium machine. Conveneince of the sizes, quick brewing and iced options. Hate to resort back to regular coffee maker but just may : ( Kcups expensive. Still on the fence about recommending this product.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Extra Water in KCup area, Leftover Coffee Grounds, HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value, Leaks, 7 months for life span

Third time's a charm? NOT!

After having this unit replaced twice due to what the company called design issues, the third machine made its last cup of coffee within a year of receiving it. Meanwhile, the cheaper machine I received as a gift five years ago continues to make 3-5 cups of coffee per day at my office with no issues whatsoever. I am completely disgusted with the poor quality and complete lack of dependability of this machine.

Unit s--ks, 3rd replacement in a year. Keurig will not allow me to upgrade to a real coffee maker sold by Keurig, stuck with this [*]. Do not buy this unit!!!!!!

Platinum turns to tin

We have had Keurig brewers for many a model and the Plauinum is the most current. The unit like the others when it works it works well, we like the multi-cup sizes and the ease of use but; They just dont last. We have had 4 brewers in the last 2 years. The longest one lasted was 9 months. If it werent for the great replacement warranty (1 yr) I dont know if I would buy one on its own. But when they worked they(all)worked well.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Not durable
I would recommend this to a friend!
