Enjoying its features immensely

I just cannot seem to get enough of the ease of brewing the coffee; especially when I had almost stopped drinking coffee and switched to tea about a year ago; but this (B-70) reeled me back in. It was a birthday gift in the middle of May 2010 and I reluctantly used it. Then once I began using it, it was as if I was possessed, I cannot get enough of it. There were problems with it in the beginning when it was about a month old, which in part was a lack of knowledge and lack of information regarding running hot water cycles after each cocoa K-cup; so the brewer failed and I was sent a replacement. I did a de-scale before using the replacement and every 10 - 14 days I run 3 straight water cycles to help maintain it and so far it has been running nicely. I look forward to its continued stellar performance for a long time to come. Now, to choose and decide which coffee I like the best . . .
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use

Great coffee bad machine

Macine worked great for 7 months then the cup selection went haywire. It either made too small of a cup or overfilled the cup. Wasted too much coffee trying to remake the cup of coffee. Too expensive of a machine to have to replace every 6-7 months.
Pros: Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile

I received my Keurig as a birthday gift from my sister, July 29, 2010. I LOVE "My" coffee maker! I feel like I'm going to the Local Coffee Shop in my own home. Every cup I have had so far is a pleasure. I don"t know if it's the coffee or the PURE excitement of having my own Keurig Platinum Coffee Maker. Now, I'm know to have a cup of coffee in my hand often so, I am a walking advertisement for Keurig!!! Thank you Mary for Blessing me with this amazing household appliance. A very grateful sister and consumer!

3rd, B70 after 1 Yr. I love the unit. Just don't have the confidence in the product. I am hopeful that the 3rd is a charm. After reading nearly all of the reviews, in hopes of getting a good under standing of the problems that I experience (same as everyone), I was hopeing that someone would have the solution to my problem. Their was'nt any. Approximantely 75% of those who would recomend the product admits that they experience the same problems as we all do, and has replaced it 2,3, and even 4 times. I think that this time, it will be my last attempt. If it fails, I'm just glad that I purchased it at a place that has a good return policy. MONEY BACK.

The worst design I have ever purchased

This machine is EXTREMELY poorly built. I am on my 8th machine since purchasing it in January of 2010. Sometimes they last a week and sometimes they last 3 months. The last one I had lasted 3 months. Something is horribly wrong with Keurig's quality control. The pump is poorly designed. Now I have to box this one up and take it back to the store that I bought it and exchange it AGAIN. Thankfully they have been doing this but it is tremendous time and trouble in doing so. Some say not to do it but I have invested so much time and money into it that not exchanging...I lose. Keurig, you need to do something about your machine.

Cons: Major Design Flaw, Fragile, Poor Quality

Love the concept of the Kuerig system. But very disapointed in the reliability. Unit shuts itself off in the middle of a brewing cycle. Or, won't even start when a brew cycle button is pressed. Often times shuts itself down completely. Kuerig needs to find a better control systems designer or get it built somewhere other than in China.
Cons: Unreliable

Have a Paperclip Handy

Was given this as a gift. Never even heard of these, but loved it from the start. My local coffee shop has unfortunately lost my patronage, but at ~ $0.30 per cup...you can't go wrong. I had the same problem with the clogging when it punctured the k-cups. Took three weeks for me to finally have the time during the day to contact. They were very nice, but not sure why they can't just email you the instructions on shoving a paperclip in the upper cutting device to clear the clog. Would have same me several weeks. Now I'm looking on this site to select a unit to purchase for my office. Coffee is so good that I want the convenience and quality in my office for a second cup! Would like to see a redesign so I don't have to unplug. The reservoir is probably the best feature along with auto on / off feature.
Pros: Easy to use, Auto Shut Off, Programmable, Fun, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Wake Up Timer
Cons: Clogs

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.
