Great Brewer

Read the reviews about this brewer and had some reservations about getting this model, but we did purchase it as a replacement for the Special Edition model and we love it and it works great, we use it everyday and have had no issues with it. This is our 3rd Keurig brewer, the first one is still going strong as it is now used at work.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use

It is great that I can have one cup of coffee without the hassel of all the clean up of a 12 cup style brewer. I can easily make my son a cup of hot chocolate quickly. It is great for the ease of some of the morning grind without all the pain of clean up.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: No brew strength

I finally got enough points (coffee Club) to get this brewer at $70.00 off. Keurig was out of stock for months. (probably trying to fix problems) It is now back in stock and the reviews are still not good. Now I don't know if I want to spring for it or just keep using the Elite which I love (except the Noise)

Cons: Fragile

I have had mine for a year and we use the filter with ours. I stay at home and I need coffee all day. I have cleaned it and it still spits out this small cup of coffee no matter what size we push. I have had it a year. love the idea but not this model. Will try another model.
Cons: Clog

I bought the Elite a year ago and loved it, so I updated for the Platinum to have the Iced Beverage option. However, to make an ice coffee, you put ice in a glass and then press the 'ice beverage' button and a small 3.25 oz shot of hot coffee melts the ice. That's not a setting, Keurig, that's a recipe. I am happy that there is a Travel Mug size, but that was not worth the extra money.
Pros: Durable, Stylish, Easy to use

TALK ABOUT EASE OF USE... I BOUGHT THIS MACHINE LAST CHRISTMAS JUST TO SEE IF I WOULD LIKE IT. HOLLY COW WHAT A GREAT APPLIANCE. LET'S SEE ...... MULTIPLE CHOICES OF COFFEE OR TEA, NOTHING TO CLEAN OUT EVERYDAY, NO MESSY GRINDS TO CLEAN UP, NO FILTERS TO BUY, READY TO DRINK IN LESS THAN 30 SECONDS, AND THE COFFEE IS HOT...REALLY HOT, JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT. AND IT MAKES GREAT ICED COFFEE FOR OUR HOT SUMMERS HERE IN THE SOUTH. THIS IS THE BEST COFFEE POT I'VE EVER OWNED. AND KEURIG HAS LOTS OF SPECIALS ON THE K-CUPS THAT KEEPS ME COMING BACK FOR MORE. I'D RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE TO ALL. DUMP THOSE OLD COFFEE POTS..... AND ENJOY THIS NEW SYSTEM.

Very Reliable

First I love my machine. 30 seconds away from work and I have a cup of coffee. I noticed a few comments about reliability and here is my 2 pfennig worth. I bought mine 2 years ago and havent turned it off since, except to move it from my office to home. My-K cup makes an excellent cup of coffee. I originally used Folgers and switched to Maxwell House because Folgers tasted somewhat watery in comparison. Your favorite coffee brand will, in all likelyhood, taste different coming from the Keurig machine. I am buying another Platinum for my office because I'm too lazy and too old to be climbing up and down stairs all day and night. Get out there and get your Platinum Keurig today. Cheers

Great System but define use

My wife and I enjoy different flavors on a daily basis and we enjoy the flexability. We purchased our Platinum Brewer nearly six years ago and it finally gave out on us because of pump problems. I should have read the reviews before I purchased the unit. I decided to go with the office pro this time because it is professed to be better built. We have enjoyed our Keurig even when we travel. I like the ability to order the k-cups on line and have them shipped to where-ever we are at. I would highly recommend Keurig, but would be sure to read all reviews first to be sure you are getting what you expect.
