Keep Away!

As others have posted..the brewer died just 1 month after the warranty. It started brewing less and less. Cleaned it out with vinegar as directed several times and it started to work again..for 2 weeks then it started brewing less again. Lucky for me I had a regular (not quiet tech) and it is a work horse.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Six Months

I bought my Platinum Brewer in Dec 2010 as a Christmas gift to myself. Well started having issues in Mar-Apr timeframe. Called customer service complaining of little to no output when brewing. Walked me through the reset and the cleaning of the top needle. This helped and worked until May. I did the process again with some success. Well this month I've got zero output. I've used the charcoal filter and have descaled it in the past. Customer service decided to send me a replacement and I hope this unit is more reliable. The concept is great since I'm the only one in my family that drinks a few cups of coffee over the weekend. I hope that Keurig will fix the issues since it is a pricey brewer for six months of use.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

LOVE that I have a FRESH cup of coffee whenever I want, different flavors, iced or hot~but..... HATE that I am now on my 3rd one!!! Keurig has been GREAT and sent me out 2 new ones, but I feel like a fool when I tell them that I really do take care of my coffee maker and it is not working again! Hope this one last a little longer then 6 months, but if it is gonna break on me hope that it does before my year warranty is up!!!

Pretty sad that this unit only lasted maybe 1 1/2 yrs. Of course it is out of warranty & I am s.o.l! Really a disappointing product. Lots of money down the drain. I will not buy another one of these considering how short a life it gave me after perfect upkeep!

Cons: Noisy, Lasted maybe 1 12 yrs, Fragile, Overpriced coffee, Pricey / Poor Value

My husband and I use our Keurig once a day. It makes a great cup of hot, steaming coffee...when it works. I am on number 2. The last one was purchased in December. I can't imagine how the company can turn a profit and give away so many replacements. The good news is that they have awesome customer relations. I'm hoping that if/when this new one dies they will be just as accommodating. I hesitate to recommend to a friend until the product is improved.
Pros: Fast, Good cup of coffee, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile, Quick to break

Not dependable.......disappointing.

Our first B70 failed after a few months' use. Kuerig replaced it four times before we got one that lasted past the guarantee time period. Swore I'd never get another, but did because I had a large supply of K-cups to use ( big investment). Five days after receipt and use, it failed. Customer service rep talked me through all the steps to fix the problem.....clogged needle cleared with safety pin, etc....nothing worked. After only 5 days of use....come on. I demanded a replacement as once they start going bad, you'll never get them to work right. My replacement came today...two weeks later. We are trying it and if it fails, we'll move on to another brand. I agree with everyone....Keurig is a great company to work with but they sincerely need to invest more money in building a better machine. Handicapped Seniors like we are, don't need the grief of dealing with morning coffee, specially on limited budgets. Thanks for listening to my rant!

I am on my second Keurig platinum in 2 years. These machines are too expensive to last less than 1 year. I will not ever spend another dime on Keurig products.

Great coffee maker !

This coffee maker is excellent. The reviews about short cupping are true however, if you regularly descale your keurig every 3 to 4 months you will have no problems. I would highly recommend this coffee maker.
Pros: Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Multiple Settings
