I have had two of these. The first one lasted 1.5 yrs; the second one quit after 8 months. I thought maybe the first was a lemon so I bought another one. I just bought the cheaper model to use up the cases of K-Cups I had just purchased. If this one gives out then that will be the end of my Keurig purchases. When it worked, I loved it.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife and I love the K cup concept and the coffee is very good, but the coffee machine has a water pump defect. I am on my 3rd machine since Christmas. The first 2 were the Platinum models. My current B60 is going back to the store today. I will wait until Keurig admits there is a problem and fixes it before I will buy a new one.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Has a defect
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Shutting off after one cup

i've been wanting a Keurig for some time now and i finally got one as a gift for Christmas and i love it. only problem is, i haven't even had it for 3 months yet and it's starting to shut off after one cup of coffee. it's set on the automatic shut off, but that's after 30 minutes of no activity. i've written to keurig, but have not had any response from anyone. if anyone else has had this problem, what have you done to rectify the situation. i love my machine, but this is getting to be a bit tedious and frustrating.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Complicated
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When it works, there is nothing better. There is obviously a design flaw with this unit. Mine had the pump problem. I'm afraid to get a new unit until they improve the design and make it defect free. I see it is out of stock now, hopefully they are fixing the problem.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Doesn't Work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Replacement is Problematic!

My first Platinum (Gloss Cinnamon) arrived at the end of January [...] The unit kept shutting off and the cup sizes would give about 30% of what it was supposed to give. Keurig replaced the machine and I've used it now for three days. The first cup gave me 8 ounces of water. The second cup gave me 6 ounces of water on the 8 ounce setting and the third cup gave me 7 ounces of water. The pump does not seem to be working properly and all cups have a strange plastic taste so I soaked the water container and ran several containers through the machine and there is still a strange taste. The first machine did not have a weird taste, it just shut itself off and didn't give enough water for each setting.I cannot drink the coffee from this Keurig. My replacement Keurig did not come with a filter and a My K-cup like the Keurig package I purchased on QVC did, so I used the filter from the first Keurig.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Pretty Color
Cons: Plastic taste, Sputtering Water, Not consistent
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am on my 5th machine. This one is only 2 weeks old before it shut off by itself. It brews partial cups. The company keeps saying adding vinegar will cure the problem.A bland new product should not require this action. I am very frustrated and thank goodness I have a backup coffee pot.

Very, Very Poor Quality

I have had a B60 for two years and never had a problem, however, it was just a little loud. This christmas I decided to update my old B60 to the improved and stylish B70. What a mistake!! I have had two of these brewers now, and waiting on a third replacement Breville unit ($80 upgrade). This unit has major issues that need resolved immediately. The pump seems to lose prime, and fails to pump the water from the reservoir. When this happens your machine automatically turns off. Then once it starts to pump the water on the next startup, your brewed coffee will either be larger or smaller than the cup size selected.Keurig has a great product when it works. They need to cancel all production on the quiet pump models, and figure out what is going on. This year Keurig had enormous sales, nearly depleting inventory. Keurig has had some many problems with the B70, they have deleted all inventory trying to replace all the failed units.I would recommend the concept of Keurig and K-cups to friends, however, not the B70 model.
