Poor System

Had this coffee maker for eight months. Prices of the K-cups have gone up making it expensive to drink coffee. It started making less and less coffee and then quit altogether.Customer service said it needed to be descaled but still didn't work. Had to buy another coffee maker until the replacement comes in. Keurig is a big waste of money

Loved my Kuerig, but as other reviewers stated it isn't very durable. It lasted me almost 6 months to the day before it started short cupping. Did all the trouble shooting, and then water started returning to the external chamber, and taking 10 minutes to start up to brew a cup.I primed it and used filtered water/ They are sending me a new one, but it would seem with this being a common complaint Kuerig would do something about this. Still love it, and can't wait to get the replacement.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

Great Customer Service

The main reason I gave this a five star instead of a one or two is their great customer service and tech. help. I'm on my second Platinum brewer they have only lasted four or five months when I start having problems with them, the last one started brewing half cups anyway I called service and we go through some steps to determine it's a bad brewer and they send me another one you just have to send back a piece they ask you to and that's it. Yes I think they may have a manufacturing defect in this platinum series but as long as they stand behind it until hopefully they get it fixed I will keep using it because I like the different cup sizes on this one. I have one Keurig that has been going over five years I passed on when I got this one. It also makes great ice tea if you have not tried it yet, I just add an extra tsp. organic sugar to mine just a hint to you folks before I pour it over ice. Anyway make sure you register you brewer when you get it and if it starts having trouble you will be covered and they ship out fast. Hope this helps

better off buying the cheap one

We had one of the orginal Keurig home brewers and used it multiple times a day for about 3 years. Then my beloved brewer died. I was drooling over the Keurig/Cuisinart partnered model, but did not want to pay the extra money - boy am I sorry. The unit worked just fine for about 35 days; just past the warranty. It reminded me of the old used car story. Now I have to beat the bloody thing to death JUST to get a full cup of coffee. The overflow valve sticks each time the machine sits for longer than a few hours (like over night!). If I catch it in time, before it pours most of the water back into the water reservoir, I get an entire cup, otherwise I get about 1/2. It took many hours of research to obtain this information and method of un-sticking the valve in my brewer - BUT IT WORKS!!! I have no idea how long it will continue to work this way, but it is sad that we must spend this much money to get a product that is obviously defective, with no way to replace the part......Keurig should man up and recall these units; they are just AWFUL!!!!

Cons: Flaky, Inconsistent, Unreliable

We have purchased 4 for ourselves and one for each of our children, another 4. All have died in the same manner. The last one has just been replaced by customer service. Cleaning is not the answer. Only a temporarly fix. When you want a cup of coffee, you can't depend on the unit.

Can't let go of my Keurig just yet

I purchased my Keurig over 31/2 years ago and purchased one for my mom 2 years ago for Christmas. I never had any issues with it until now. It will only give me half a cup on start up. I think it is trying to tell me something but i am not ready just yet to give up on it. I will for sure get myself another one. As for my mom's it is still brewing a good cup of coffee.

Need New One Now (Not because it broke)

X-Girlfriend left with her Keurig, Not sad about her leaving. But sure am going to miss that machine. My new one should be here in a few days. I love it because I can grab one quick cup of coffee before work (with no clean up from the day before) and when friends and family come over they can choose from a wide varitie of coffee, tea or hot chocolate

Troublesome

The machine made it to almost 6 months before they had to replace it for me. I had trouble with it 2 months after I got it for Xmas. I enjoy the convience of it but had to call in four times. Hope this one lasts me longer. My niece has this same model for a year and a half with no problem. I guess it's just a hit and miss situation.
Pros: Good Coffee, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Lots of trouble, Noisy
