Three months, no issues

I received the B70 as a gift three months ago, it has been used daily since then to make at least 6 cups, not all for me :). I have it set to automatically come on and shut off. Absolutely no problems experienced yet, everything works perfect as it did new out of the box, no clogging, no shutting off mid-cup, always perfect. Have tried a handful of coffee types and teas, still testing additional flavors. Family and friends have other models for much longer, they have not had any issues yet either and rave about their machines. It's nice that everyone can make the individual coffee they want. My kids love it too.
Pros: Coffee variety, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use

I am on my second platnium brewer. I purchased my current brewer in February and it is already malfunctioning despite multiple cleanings. Very disappointed. Will try one more machine--maybe the cuisinart and then I'm done.
Pros: Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received my brewer as a gift after seeing my daughters. My Platinum has seen daily use for the past year without any problems. It is just so easy to use. Thanks for producing such a great product.

I have had my Keurig for a little over a year, lately it won't brew the programmed size, if it brews at all. For the price I expect better quality. In theory it's great, however the durability is questionable
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Not durable, Brew size unreliable, HARD TO CLEAN

totally hooked

We bought one for our home and became totally hooked. The fresh taste of each cup was wonderful. I just purchased a second one for our RV and plan on buying 3 more. one for my new office at work nd 2 for relatives for Christmas gifts. i will make sure when i visit the relatives i will get the same wonderful coffee at thier homes. so i am totally hooked. wonderful!

Like everyone here, we didn't know how we lived without ours. After 14 months, our first one's motor pooped out. We cleaned it as per manufacturer's instructions. We called to troubleshoot and spoke to a tech. It was not overused or abused. No dropping, no damage whatsoever. It just pooped out. Fine. Warranty was over and they would ship another for a discounted rate that we paid for the purchase ourselves. Fine, a fluke we thought. Purchased our second machine. Water stopped sucking from reservoir after 5 months. Pulled off tube to make sure it was clean. No blockage there. Checked the top as per manufacturer's instructions. No block there. Called company and troubleshot with technician. Oops - need another machine. [...] Now what are the chances of me getting 2 "lemons"? Apparently pretty high because the same thing just happened to a friend of mine in another state. Bottom line: if you want a high-priced disposable coffeemaker, then buy it. I am very upset and disappointed. Now I see on this site and other sites that I'm not alone with my complaints.
Pros: GREAT While It Lasts
Cons: Replacements expensive, Breaks Down, Complicated, Defective, Not Reliable, HARD TO CLEAN, Must Call Tech

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Since my wife doesn't drink coffee but everyone else in my family and hers does, this system is perfect. Everyone loves the fact that we have different things to drink, different coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and it does create a hassle. More often then not, someone offers to make the coffee now, because they get the first cup.
Pros: Stylish, Durable, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

Don't bother buying this unit

This is our 3rd Platinum unit only because it is 70 miles to the nearest store to return it, and we got tired of taking them back. Shuts off on its own every time we use it and has since we first got it. [...] We started with the Cusinart quiet model in Jan. 2010, had the same problem, so in reality it is our 4th coffee maker with this technology. Don't buy this product. We have pulled out our old B40 that is 4 years old and using it. Just have to put up with the noise on it.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Quiet when it works
Cons: Shuts OFF Constantly
