First Us didn't work

Machine didn't work of first use, service rep wouldn't ship new one for 3-7 days. I don't call that a good experience.
Cons: Doens't work

Turns itself off & SHORTCUPS

My parents and I have this machine. It is an upgrade from our first machine. The first machine worked perfectly for three years and was well worth it. The upgrade has been nothing but trouble. My parents first machine leaked, mine has been providing short cups. Customer service can never find me in the system so I have to start over every time I call in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a great product

I use my Keurig Platinum at least once every morning and have done so for about 2 years. I have had no problems with this machine and the K-Cup choices are great. I also use My K-Cup when I want to enjoy a cup of coffee that isn't available pre -measured.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, MAKES GREAT COFFEE, Durable, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

Disappointed with Customer Serv/Machine

I have been a loyal fan of Keurig since its inception. Since upgrading to this brewer (and we have 2 in our home) both have stopped working - back build and brew 2 ounces one time and then 10 another. What I donto like is that when I contacted customer care - they were RUDE! The Customer Service call center forwarded me to a care specialist who said Oh we replaced it once already and you must be doing something wrong - She had me feeling like I should apologize to her. When I ordered 2 in December - the rep at the time said they were pulling them back for these problems and were in process of correcting them. So they sold me machines KNOWING there was a problem which is why they were out of stock for a long time. Keurig needs to understand that to maintain a loyal customer base you need to treat customers better and correct and standby your product. PS - Green Mountain owns Keurig, Caribou etc - so ordering frm one is all the same.
Pros: Stylish, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN

Fix your Keurig with a paperclip!

Many of the complaints I have seen are because it shuts off mid-brew or does not fill the cup with the correct amount of water. You need to clean your needle! If you leave your Kcup in for hours after brewing it will clog the puncture needle. Clean the needle out with the end of a paper clip, then flush with a few cycles of plain water. Your Kuerig will be back to good as new. (All of this is in the owner manual) Next time, throw out your Kcups as soon as your done brewing to prevent the problem. We love our Kuerig! Take care it and it will take care of your morning caffeine fix! :)

Working out the Bugs

I like this brewer, however, it has had a couple of issues. The 1st PBS that we rcvd was gr8t til it wouldn't stay on & was cutting off by itself. So we returned that 1 & rcvd the 1 I currently hv. It was working 2 PERFECTION then 1 day it started 2 shortcup me. I thought, well, it'll get bttr. It didn't. It got worse. :-/ So I called Keurig (cust. svc is AMAZING). Come 2 find out u need 2 descale this brewer every 1.5 - 2mo. Ok, I descaled. It worked great & then the day after that it started 2 short cup me again. Hmmmmm. Approx 2 wks went by b4 I had the time 2 call thm again. This time I also spoke w/a tech. We (I) cleaned the needle, both top & bottom, & 4 now it is working. I am just not sure whether or not I would recommend this particular brewer 2 frnds yet. Again, I MUST say their cust svc is exemplary! Very kind & patient. TY Keurig 4 encouraging these qualities in ur employees.

Malfunctioning after 6 months!

This brewer is only used by a family of 3 who only uses genuine K-cups in it. It is now refusing to brew a cup when you push "brew," you only hear humming, then we have to turn it on and off, open the cup holder, wait and see...sometimes we are lucky and will get a cup. Since still under warranty, we will now undertake the job of trying to get a replacement from Keurig. Will update at a future date to let you know about the service we wound up receiving.
