Hot Coffee

Makes hot coffee fast,perfect for 1 cup to go in the morning.You can also make your own hot chocolate or tea.No problem with the machine

Platinum Service -- Multiple Daily Use

I got 2 of the Platinum for Christmas of '09, one went in our RV, and started using them almost immediately. The only thing I don't like is having to pre-soak the water filter cartridges. I ordered the 5-pack of water filter cartridges almost immediately so I'm not caught short--the only time the machine has ever made any odd noises was due to it being time to change that filter. I had a small problem after running some coffee (and didn't remove the K-cup right away) when the drainage holes became clogged--a few hot water brews solved this along with a general rinsing of the K-cup holder under the tap.
Pros: Durable, Quick, Easy to use

I was given my first brewer as a gift. It didn't last the first two months. My sister had a similar experience with the same brewer. She told me how impressed she was with Keurig customer service. I called Keurig customer service. They listened to my complaint and went above and beyond to make things right. I had a new brewer within a couple of days. That was over 10 months ago. The brewer continues to work flawlessly. I would recommend it to anyone.

I LOVE this machine!!

I've had this model for about a year. I use it at least once every day (usually several times a day). I brew regular light coffee, my son brews tea, his friends brew hot chocolate, and my husband brews flavored coffee. I did have a problem shortly after purchase (would say it was brewing, but wouldn't) but when i called Keurig, I received fabulous customer service! The customer service rep advised me to run a few cycles of plain water(no K-cup) and helped me locate in my manual the cleaning procedures (the paper clip manuever). he even insisted on staying on the line with me while I did everything to be sure I was up and running again before we hung up. If i remember correctly, he even sent me some free Kcups "for my trouble". I haven't had any problems since. Overall, i am very happy with the brewer as well as the customer service, and there's nothing like a 60 second cup of coffee when you're rushing out the door every morning! Love it, love it, love it!

Mine is new, last night....and

I got it last night, did the set-up, and immediately it did not work correctly....so sad, I had been looking forward to getting it, and now it does not work.....short cupping the coffee size the large mug only gives about 1/2 of a cup, and there were coffee grounds in that, then to add to the misery, the water reservoir that is supposed to make 10 cups before filling needed filling after the set up!!!!!!!! Great, that was a waste of money, the sad thing I brought them for my office too...now I am going to hear it if these things do not work!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN

Dysfunctional Brewer

If it wasn't for the finest customer/tech service I have ever dealt with, this company might have closed it's doors. The phone reps are polite,kind and support the product (Platinum and Special Edition)no matter how poorly designed and dysfunctional they are. I have encountered every symptom that was discussed in every review for the past 5 brewers I owned. All have been exchanged. I have performed every preventative maintenance task that has been suggested by the phone reps and the operator's manual. To no avail, each unit fials similarly. Even tried the old paper clip trick which did not work. Not sure why this needs to be done when the brewer fails to give a full cup right out of the box. The bottom line is that the Design/Engineering team should seriously realize they are taking the decent reputation that it has and moving it to the bottom of the ranks as long as they are letting dysfunctional, incompetent products roll out of their factory.I am surprised their upper management hasn't put a stop to the 98% replacement rate of the Special Edition and Platinum brewers. Each employee should take home a brewer after the ROOT cause has been found and fixed. The employee should test it for 6 months and any type of failures are reported and Keurig should start the whole process over again until they get it right. You have a very clever product that does not have longevity and END USERS in mind. Keurig- you should warranty the brewers for 3 years till you get it straight and give the unfortunate customers that you may still have a new brewer as you knew the many were going to fail. Keurig Management: Read the internet about the dsysfunctional brewers that you are putting out. Why does everyone say almost the same 3-4 things on how theirs has failed. Lemons belong on trees and not on coffee brewers. If you fail to make this product work correctly right out of the box, you will lose your customers. We think you are smart- just have a product that works. Today, I would have to say that no one should buy one of the brewers until they have found and solved all the issues. Thanks for letting me write this as I am tired of returning cup holders.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Love the Single Cup System

I was never a coffee critique until I bought this system. I always bought whatever coffee was on sale at the grocery store and didn't think much about it. But with this system, I have learned to truly appreciate good coffee. I am disappointed when I have "generic" coffee out. The system has worked very well for me and is perfect for my family. Before, I would make a big pot of coffe and sometimes we'd drink it all and other times throw alot of it out. Also, my husband and I can drink our own favorites w/o making a whole pot. Worth the investment.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes
