Good product but it does have it's issue

When working properly this a great machine. Our family loves the different coffee's available. We also like the fact it brews in 30 seconds. Unlike our old coffee maker there isn't a half pot or more of coffee being wasted. Problem we have had is coffee grounds getting into our cup. De-scaling was difficult as it didn't work and our brewer stopped working altogether. Customer service tedious but very helpful is sending us a replacement at no cost with a warranty. I would reccomend it to a friend.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes, HARD TO CLEAN, Complicated, Coffee grounds

Need to redisign maybe?

Well we bought our keurig (platinum) about 15 months ago, worked great until about 6 months ago then had intermittent problems with "short cupping" and periodically shutting off...now it happens all the time. I called customer service and went through a series of "cleaning" steps, still didn't work right and shut off while I was on the phone to customer service. The representative said it was "defective" and will send out a new unit. From what I've read on here, it sounds as if they need to figure out why the machines keep malfunctioning and FIX IT!! Looks like this won't be our last replaced keurig.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Shuts off on it's own, Fragile, Short cups
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love the concept and variety that this type of coffee maker employs, but the quality of this machine is not up to par. Within two weeks, the machine was not working as it should. On the max setting, we are getting maybe 8oz of coffee out of the maker. I've tried a variety of different solutions to correct the problem, but basically, this machine is poorly made and we will be returning it. Hopefully we can find a machine that works as it should, and with better quality. I would recommend the K-cup concept, but not this particular machine.
Pros: Easy to use

Happy with Keurig

Have had this coffee maker for a little over a year. To date the only issue we have ever had is an occasional short cupping. We use only filtered water, have never had to descale, only run the cleaner through a couple of times. Would definitely purchase again if necessary, have even been looking at the mini brewers for use in our RV. Love the fact that due to being able to make our own iced coffee as well we have been able to kick [...] to the curb.

Great Coffee as long as it works

We loved our Platinum Keurig coffee maker right from the start. Great tasting coffee and I really like the ability of use our own grind. HOWEVER, we've only had it for one month and today it stopped working. I see that I am not alone in this complaint after reading many of the reviews posted here. [...] I suppose I will continue using one as long as Keurig is willing to give me a new one each month or so. Though I don't know how long they can stay in business if over 50% of their machines die in the first couple of month of use.

Great Customer Service!

I bought my Platinum Series brewer a year and a half ago and haven't had any problems with it. I love, love, love getting a fresh cup of coffee each and every time. My brewer stopped working on me and I talked to customer service who was so very helpful. I was able to get my brewer back up and running in no time. The customer service from the get go was outstanding!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile

I bought my first Keurig a year and a half ago and just loved it. But stopped filling my cup with coffee. I called customer service and they sent me another one. I love this coffee pot and hope this one works longer. I was very pleased with the quick respond my sending me a new one.

If you don't mind dealing with customer service every few days doing the same trouble shooting that gets you no where, then this is for you. If you don't mind returning to the store [...] then this is for you. If you don't mind Keurig telling you they never heard of your problem even know it's all over the internet then this is for you. If you do buy, buy from [...] because they will take every one back do problem.
Pros: Lots of replacements
Cons: Bad pumps, Keurig tech on speed dial, Lasts only a few weeks
