Do not buy this brewer!

I purchased my first brewer after Christmas over a year ago. It lasted only a few months. It began shutting itself off mid-cycle after trying to pump the water into the brewer. The machine would also short cup. The machine then started taking longer and longer before it would allow itself to be turned back on. I reported the problem to customer service and they immediately replaced the machine. I registered the replacement the first week of March. It lasted 12 months and one week. The warranty does not cover replacement after a year. This machine just shut off one day and will not come back on. I feel terrible that I encouraged several people at work to buy one of these for their homes as well as my own father. My father's has since quit working as well as two people from work. I decided to spend the extra money and go with a totally automated coffee brewer that is wonderful. Do your research before buying this coffee machine.

Cons: Fragile, Not durable, Not worth the money, Breaks without warning

Love this product for home, I drink decaf and my husband drinks regular. We have an array of choices available at the same time and the machine has worked hard for us for a year and half with no problems at all. This was a Christmas gift that has not failed to please. Now to get my favorite coffee maker to start making K Cups.....
Pros: Stylish, Allows individual choices, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast and Convenient
Cons: Confusing at first, HARD TO CLEAN

Super Great Brewing System

After the Doc's office I work in got one I had to have my own. Both I and my fiance are everyday coffee drinkers and with the B70 it just doesnt get any easier. She hated it until she used it once. Now she see's why I got it. Between us we brew up around 10-14 cups a day. No problems at this time. Use Brita filered water in it and the coffee tastes great. As the coffee goes, bold is how we like it so this hits the spot!! With the exception of my first cup of the day, we use the 12oz option. I like hunting deals so the cups are fun to find. In the end this system is saving us money because there is no waste. No more burnt coffee down the drain or nuking cold stuff. I cant see why some have durability issues with the brewer. Raise the arm, put cup in, close arm, place cup, push button. Super easy. Easy to clean as well. Believe me, until I saw and used it in the office I would have not got one. More importantly if I do have any problems in one years time I will be back to blast it. For now two out of two B70s are alive and working well. PS. A little tip for your cups. If you have room store them in the frig. One, it extends their life and second it they wont puff the coffee out when punctured by the brewer.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Not what it's cracked up to be

We received our Keurig coffee maker on Mother's Day 2009. It didn't even last for two years and then it failed. Worked fine the day before, then next morning it will only pump about 2 teaspoons of water. Sent an email to Keurig, technician said it had a blockage. It was descaled regularly. It was replaced by Keurig to the tune of [$] since it was out of warranty. A very poor product for [$] that didn't even outlast the K-cups. A shame that K-cups last longer than the coffee maker itself. It definitely needs improvement and Keurig could start by using American workers and having their products made in the USA instead of China. I definitely would not recommend to anyone that you would like to keep as a friend. This is just another overpriced piece of junk made in China.

I love my coffee maker however it is temperamental. I have had to descale it, which makes coffee or tea that tastes like vinegar for awhile and milk turns to curds and whey. Tip number one, buy your Keurig in a local shop with a easy return policy, you will need it.

Cons: Fragile, EASILY broken, Limited Cup Sizes

Love this coffee maker!

Every since I got this coffee maker, I have enjoyed everything that it has produced. I love how easy and reliable it is as well as providing the capability to use my own coffee, tea, or chocolate. Even my kids love making hot chocolate in it. Since getting this coffee maker it has received constant use and has produced without fail. I will say that I have been very careful with it in regard to the water that I use. We are on a well and sometimes, even the whole house filter, leaves things in the water that would tend to gunk up the coffee maker and require excess cleaning. I buy gallon bottles of water and have used that without any problem. The bottom line is that this is one of the best kitchen toys that I have ever purchased.

I use this brewer everyday and more than one cup most times. It is outstanding. The timer has the water hot by the time I am out of bed and need my morning coffee! Works great when we have our friends over and I need to make several cups back to back.
