I hate the brewer!!!!!!!

We are on our second replacement unit and have had this one less than one month before it started to give us grief. First it would just staart to brew and quit. Now when you press on the brew button it does nothing. You have to take the k-cup out, turn it 180 degrees, put it back in, press the lever and then press the brew button and if you are lucky, you will get a full cup of coffee. In my opinion this product does not live up our expectations especially considering the price we paid for the unit. We have reverted back to our 15 year old drip coffee machine (which has never let us down) that luckily enough we have kept otherwise we would not be having coffee in the morning. We are waiting to hear from the Canadian vice president as to what they are willing to do as we will not accept another replacement. They should not sell this product as there are too many problems with it.

My wife and I were tired of wasting partial pots of coffee every day because of the burnt taste. Now that we have the Keurig life is much sweeter. We love the fact that we can have so many choices so easily.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Durable, Easy to use
Cons: none

I love them .....But

I admit that I do love the Keurig machines for their convenience. But, I think they need to make the "home" models more durable. My first one was a gift, and the machine lasted five years before the pump finally went. It was an office model and definitely more durable than the "home" models. I then purchased a Platinum machine and, once again, the pump went after a little over a year. The warranty had expired, and I therefore had to purchase a new machine. I wasn't thrilled, as I felt that, for the price, it should have lasted longer. My third machine lasted eight (8) months before I was having problems with it. Not enough water came out, for the cup size selected, and it would say "brewing" but nothing was happening. Fortunately, it was still under warranty and Keurig sent me a replacement, which I just received. We'll see how long this one lasts. My Mom has a different Keurig model, which is about a year old, and it is also not working correctly... and it is barely used. It shuts off automatically after making a cup of coffee, and it doesn't make the amount that is indicated. I have tried several things to get it to work....cleaned it, unplugged it, and reprogrammed it but it still is not working correctly. She will not buy another one, because she barely uses it, and said she will simply turn it on again after it shuts off. She doesn't remember if she ever registered the machine, and for sure she did not register it online, as she has no computer skills. So, unfortunately she has no recourse on this machine. And, for the record.......I DO clean my machine and descale it. I even use filtered water and not, tap water. My Mom only uses bottled water. My husband just had his second Keurig, for his office, break....having the same pump problems. I hope Keurig finds out whatever the problem is that is causing these machines to break so quickly, because I truly love the convenience of having one. I just think an expensive machine should last longer than up to the the date of it's warranty.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile

I have owned two(2)of these exact same coffee brewers. The first only last a year and merely quit working. I purchased the exact same machine and after less than a year it will not brew a full cup of coffee. I would not recommend this machine to anyone. I will try a different model in the hopes it will perform well over time.
Pros: Brews quickly, Easy to use
Cons: Not Reliable

I have had to replace this maker twice within 6 months. You would think the most expensive model would be worth it. Not worth it. No quality, poorly made.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A nightmare!

I tried to use the unit daily; however, I did not get the opportunity. It would not dispense the water. After three calls in three weeks, I felt I was a trained Keurig technician!! On the last call, I finally was told that the units have a computer problem. Keurig Customer Service offered a replacement. While I still question the reliability of the units, I accepted the replacement. I've invested in too much coffee not to try to use the pods I currently have. Definitely, according to the instructions for writing reviews, I HAVE NOT BEEN COMPENSATED IN EXCHANGE FOR WRITING THIS REVIEW!!!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile, Constantly Broken, HARD TO CLEAN, Not Reliable

Great brewers but have had issues

I was one of those "grind you own" coffee perfectionists for years. My daughter bought a Keurig Ultimate brewer at [...] a couple of years ago and I was shocked at how good the coffee was. So I bought one myself. For over two years I used the brewer every day, 2-3 cups a day. I was more than satisfied with this first brewer. Not one problem! The pump was noisy but I thought at the time that was normal. It wasn't normal I later found out. But other than the pump noise, I had absolutely no issues over the 2+ years I've been using it. I loved it so much that I bought a second Ultimate brewer at another warehouse club, and stored it in my closet for future use. Three months ago I decided to bring my original Ultimate brewer to our office for staff use (only two of us drink coffee), and it still works great. I started using my second Ultimate brewer at home at that point but I started getting occasional short cups. I called customer service and they walked me through some troubleshooting steps, including cleaning the needle nozzles. Two weeks later after getting more short cups I called customer service and they shipped me a new replacement, a Platinum model. Sadly, I couldn't get an Ultimate model (nicer stylish looking than the Platinum) because it has been discontinued. The replacement Platinum arrived and it worked great for a few days, and then I started getting occasional short cups again, resulting in wasted cups. I called customer service and they again walked me through the cleaning steps. Which I felt was unnecessary since the brewer was brand new and had only been used for two weeks. Two days later I got a short cup again so I called customer service again. This particular rep suggested that I pre-puncture the K-cups, meaning I insert the cup and press down to puncture the bottom. Then I press the brew button. It's been almost two weeks now and so far no short cups. So I will continue to pre-punch the cups.Overall I absolutely LOVE these brewers. The coffee is just as good IMO as fresh ground, and so much more convenient. And with no mess! No coffee grounds to dispose of. I expect to use these brewers forever. I can live with the occasional issues reported since the customer service is very responsive and they really try hard to satisfy the customer. I also like that the customer service reps are easy to talk to and their is no language barrier. Thumbs up to Keurig customer service!
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, No wasted coffee, Fast brewing, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Convenient, Coffee tastes great, No Mess
Cons: Pump can be fragile, Occasional short cups
