DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!!

When my Keurig didn't work, after only six months, this morning, I called the customer service department. I was advised that my machine had already been replaced for some person I didn't know...WHICH IT HAD NOT!! Apparently customer service has used my serial number and attached it to the replacement of another item for some other person. I had my machine right in front of me so it had not been exchanged for another!! Customer service will not assist you with repair of this device when it stops working. Keurig machines tend to stop working within the first year of having them. I would not recommend this machine at all to anyone. I highly suggest you not purchase a Keurig!!

Select your cup size and you never know exactly how much water will be coming out, regardless of the setting! I use the largest cup setting to fill my travel mug every morning. It is about a 16 oz mug. Some days it gets mostly filled (I assume its supposed to be 12 oz) and some days I get 4, some days 6, and on rare occasion 8, all with the same setting. Less than impressed...
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Durable, Multiple Settings
Cons: Consistent Output

Short Brewing after 2 months!

I love the Kuerig, and have recommended the brewers to many friends and family. However, I recently had to replace my older model after 4 years of heavy use with the new Platinum model. We were very happy with it for the first couple of weeks - it was so quiet and brewed a great cup of coffee! However, after two months, it has now started brewing only half cups, and the brew time is quite lengthy! I understand from web research that this is a common problem with these new brewers, so don't waste your money! I have contacted Keurig customer service, and hopefully will get resolution to this issue and restore my faith in the Keurig product.

LOVE it still after 2 years!

We have had the Platinum for two years now and LOVE it! It suits our family perfectly as my husband makes his travel mug size every morning, and I like an occasional smaller cup of tea. The only con for us is that the reservoir indicated that it was dishwasher safe, but after putting it through the dishwasher, it cracked on us at the top. Other than that, it works perfectly. We recently bought a Mini as well and I am taking it back tomorrow. The mini only accomodates small and regular size mugs, and leaks water on us. We will be buying another Platinum.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Durable

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Great when it works....

I actually purchased this one secondhand for a $1 so when it stopped working I was not angered, however, I left it alone for a few weeks and let it serve as counter decoration and now it works just fine (for now @ least)... Disappointed at the reviews... was hoping this was just a defective one but I guess not :(

Cons: Fragile
