Great while it works -

Love the convenience and speed, don't love the fact that my 2nd machine in 3 years has died. In other words, keep that old coffee pot in the cabinet for the morning when Keurig fails you...because it inevitably will. As soon as it short cups you or fills your cup with grounds...be prepared...the end is near. Descaling often and using filtered water gave me about an extra 6 months of life compared to my 1st machine, but the $40 coffeemaker I still kept around has lasted 10 years. So there you have it. Keurig needs to step up and improve the lifespan. What am I going to do w/ the 80 K-cups in my cabinet?!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Stylish, Fast, Multiple Settings
Cons: Short life span, HARD TO CLEAN, Fragile

The best Christmas gift from my twenty one year old daughter (in college) Love it and told all of my friends and family to buy one...we all had BUN machines. The special edition lasted about 14 months. Called care and did some trouble shooting over the phone. When I asked, "is there anything else" The reply was "I am sending you a new brewer" Mind you I was out of warranty by a few months. Four days later, I was back in business and unplugged the back up BUN. I did not know the Keurig's name means excellence! In this day and age, I respect the customer excellence that I received...as there is too little of it. Keurig..hats of to you on standing behind your product

Short cups

I originally bought my keurig from a store and had to exchange it because it was making short cups. My second keurig started brewing a short cup after the 3rd cup of coffee. I called the company and they went through the steps to clean (too soon to descale). By the time I hung up, we brewed full cups (w/o kcups). The next morning, it brewed a short cup on the first try. Three days later and multiple short cups, It wouldn't brew a full cup of coffee only a full cup w/o the kcup. Called keurig again and they are now shipping me a replacement machine (3rd machine). I had to ask for replacement kcups; they didn't even offer which would have been the decent customer service thing to do. Other than the fact that this is a convenient machine, I wouldn't, in a million years, recommend it to anybody. If you are thinking about buying this machine, DON'T!

Not Durable

I have bought three machines and they have all done the same thing. After about 9 months the largest size stops working. Than the next largest size stops working, until the machine stops doing anything. Cleaning it does nothing. I really like the machine, but can not afford to keep buying them. My sister experienced the same issues.

Cons: Fragile

Keurig has been able to fix problems

I received this as a birthday present and had issues with it not working, returned it to the store for a new one and it leaked form the bottom after a week, returned that one to the store and after about 3 months that one the pump stopped working, called the customer service and the tried to get it to work and decided to send me a new one.[...]. It is working at the present time (knock on wood). Keurig customer service was very good at handling the problems. I do wish they could make the machine a little more durable, but love it just the same. I tell everyone how much I love it even when it is giving me issues. I love being able to have a fresh and hot cup of coffee when I wake up to our famous Buffalo snow storms, and after shoveling 17 inches of snow out of my drive way.

Cons: Many break downs

Love It

This was given to my wife and I when my daughter and her boyfriend came to visit. She said that they had one at their home and while at the store not only bought one for us but also for his mother and later found out that when his sister saw it she had to have one also. The wife and I love this because of the ease of making coffee for her and either coffee or tea for me each morning and sometimes in the evening. We have not had it too long so can't say how durable it will be but right now can't find anything bad to say about it.

I love my Keurig Platinum! My boyfriend bought it for me this past Christmas and I have yet to go a day without using it! I hardly ever write reviews for products I buy, but this is one of my favorite gifts and I think it deserves the good review! I'm a huge fan of coffee and was spending entirely too much money at other coffee places so it's VERY nice to have my own coffee maker right at home in my kitchen! Also, another thing that's nice is that I can order the KCups online or run to the store and pick them up, even though I usually chose online because shipping is so fast and I love getting the coffee club points! It's very beneficial to be a member at Keurig.com! I would recommend the Keurig name to anyone! Great product!

On 3rd Replacement but I still love it!

My husband and I use this machine several times a day and more on the weekends. We are currently waiting for our 3rd brewer to arrive. They seem to be lasting about a year for us. We use the filtered water, descale every 3 months and make sure the needles are clean. Both of the brewers started short cupping and then just quit. Both times I have called customer service and after many questions they have sent me another to replace. I don't mind all the questions and I am very grateful to get the new one at no charge. [...]
